The old-cut stone approx. 1.53cts, claw set between tapering shoulders on a D-section shank stamped '18ct', size Q, 8.2g gross Condition Report: Overall good condition for age, general light wear and tear commensurate with age and use, several claws would benefit from a re-tip, the stone is a little loose in the setting but currently reasonably secure. The diamond measures approx. 7.0mm x 7.05mm x 4.8mm, clarity about SI2 (a black inclusion to the edge of the table instantly visible with a 10X lens), colour about J, K if being mean!.

The revolving lacquered top with red and gilt hand painted decoration on black lacquer of islands, figures in boats, crossing bridges etc., opening to reveal a fully fitted interior in gilt and black, having mostly lidded compartments and lift out section having further lidded and lift out compartments, H74.5cm x W63.5cm x D42cm Condition Report: whilst the colour is good, one cannot ignore the crack towards the back of the lid, there is some lifting in places aswell as the wear to the front of the lid. Joints which have moved have incurred some losses, the revolving top is good., whilst the rest of the lids are present the biggest fault is the two compartments at the back which have their sections missing and one assumes the lacquered small trays ( that sit in it) are missing too. Although the faults seem long it is actually in pretty fair order and the only revolver I have ever seen in 35 years !
