A mid-18th century mahogany fold-over-top card table; the figured top above the two edges opening to reveal green-baize interior and carved with egg-style motifs within recessed ovals, the frieze very finely carved with scrolling foliage and central shell motif, the square chamfered Marlborough legs similarly craved and moulded (78.5cm wide x 38.5cm deep x 73cm high)
A good extending oak kitchen-style dining table with four chairs; the table with two end extensions and raised on baluster turned supports united by a central stretcher (258cm extended x 90cm); the four chairs (2+2) in 17th century style (later)Condition Report: The table also comes with four matching chairs comprising two carvers and two singles. Overall the table is in good condition - it looks like the table has been 'aged' with some small indentations and some false word worm etc. The chairs are also similarly 'aged'. There are some scratches and scuffs to the base and H-form stretcher commensurate with usage.
