Lot 466

A good extending oak kitchen-style dining table with four chairs; the table with two end extensions and raised on baluster turned supports united by a central stretcher (258cm extended x 90cm); the four chairs (2+2) in 17th century style (later)Condition Report: The table also comes with four matching chairs comprising two carvers and two singles. Overall the table is in good condition - it looks like the table has been 'aged' with some small indentations and some false word worm etc. The chairs are also similarly 'aged'. There are some scratches and scuffs to the base and H-form stretcher commensurate with usage.

The top has a few minor scratches and scuffs but nothing too major. Overall the condition is good and it can be reported that the table has recently been exported from India by a private client who had it made to order whilst living out there some years ago. It has a very authentic mid 18th century 'look' about it. It is very heavy. The top could be remedied with minimum effort and so, overall, is in very good condition.

The legs are darker than the top and there is no evidence of breakage or repairs on the back.
