Parish, 1979`, the two piece back of fine curl with similar wood to the sides and head, the table of a fine width grain and the varnish of a golden-brown colour, 13 15/16", 35.40cm and the viola, bearing a similar label entitled `Janet`, of similar wood, 16", 40.60cm (2) *Malcolm Parish was a star pupil at the London College of Furniture and these instruments were made by him in 1979 for the Chantry Trust set up to benefit musicians.
