Edwardian rosewood and inlaid Bedroom Suite, comprising dressing table with triptych mirrors, bow-fronted corner cabinets, centre sunk base, bow-fronted central drawer flanked by four drawers to each pedestal, on plinth bases, 150cms, (4'11"), the matching marble-top wash stand, with arched mirror over and panel of Art Nouveau pottery tiles, 136cms, (4'6"), bow-fronted wardrobe with cupboards and drawers flanked by mirrored doors, 216cms, (7'1") and bedside cabinet, each piece profusely inlaid with satinwood and pen-work bone, with exotic birds, vases of flowers and scrolls, in the manner of Edwards & Roberts. An African wooden table with trunk top, standing on legs carved as stylized male mask, leopard and antelope, with ring base, 19in. diameter, 26 1/2in. high; together with a similar stool with carved design, 12 1/2in. diameter, 14 1/4in. high, both probably by the Bamileke Tribe of Cameroon. (2)

Marcel Breuer, for Isokon Furniture Company, a set of birch ply nesting BT2 tables (Isokon Nesting Tables), designed 1936 and purchased in 1942 from Jack Pritchard. (largest table 2ft 61cms long) (original finish but distressed) Literature; Diana Rowntree (now living at Great Bardfield) wrote to Jack Pritchard on the 13th October, 1942, asking if there were any of the "Isokon Nesting Tables left?" (Pritchard papers, University of East Anglia)
Marcel Breuer, for Isokon Furniture Company, a BT3 Dining Table (Isokon Dining Table) designed 1936, with a partial Venesta label underneath and with original finish in good condition. (54ins 137cms long, 28ins 71cms high, 2ins 6cms deep) Provenance: Flat 28, Lawn Road Flats (The Isokon Building). This example purchased by the Rowntrees in 1939, the year they married and moved into the Isokon Building. See illustration
A Robson & Sons mahogany sideboard fitted two drawers to the frieze and two heavy carved panel doors decorated with a cabuchon and stylized serpents fitted Art Nouveau brass handles, flanked by fluted pilasters, raised on bun feet, 52in. x 24in. x 39in. high; together with a matching smaller serving table, fitted two short drawers and a pair of panelled doors, 48in. x 18in. x 34in. high. A late Georgian mahogany bowfront kneehole side table, the top decorated with inlaid cross banding, boxwood and ebony stringing, fitted one long drawer above two short drawers with later brass ring handles, raised on turned and reeded tapering legs, 34 1/2in. x 30in. high.
A George IV mahogany Pembroke table, decorated with ebonised banding and fitted a pair of rectangular hinged flaps, two short drawers to either end with lion mask ring handles, raised on four turned column supports, each with floral splay legs terminating in brass paw feet, 42in. x 22in. x 29in. high.
A 19th Century mahogany semi-circular side table, with hinged folding top and single gateleg above the plain frieze, raised on turned tapering legs with pad feet, 18in. x 28in. high; together with a later near matching side table, bearing the stamp of Muirhead, Moffat & Co., Glasgow, 18in. x 28in. high.
