A 19th century mahogany and crossbanded oval breakfast table, with gun barrel column and reeded splayed base on castors. (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The tabletop is slightly faded. It has been lightly sanded and waxed. It also has some age-related marks to include where something hot has been put down, various ring marks etc. On the underside of the table there are marks around the outside edge where something has probably been clamped to it, but this does not affect the top. The column and legs are in good order just showing signs of age-related wear.
An oriental hardwood low table, with bamboo style legs. Height 28 cm, width 76 cm, depth 40 cm. (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The top of the table has two ring marks and other age-related marks. The table has a very slight wobble on the right-hand side. there is also a 5 cm split to the knee on the right-hand side on the front leg. The rear leg again has a very slight split at the knee to the rear of the table there has been a break and there is also a small piece of foliage missing to the centre of this carved section as well as a number of other small losses. The left-hand panel also has a repaired crack.
