A harlequin set of 18th and 19th century silver fiddle pattern flatware, comprising two Georgian table spoons by Hyam Hyams, London, 1824, 85/8in. (22cm.) long; eight dinner forks, various makers and dates; fifteen starter forks, one by Reid & Sons, Newcastle, 1847, 6 5/8in. (16.8cm.) long; thirteen dessert spoons, four assayed in Exeter to include one by Robert Williams & Sons, 1850, two by Josiah Williams & Co., 1857 and one by George Turner, 1829; ten teaspoons; and a sauce ladle, some pieces with inscribed terminals etc., weight 64 tr.oz. (49). *Mostly good condition, some pieces with slightly rubbed hallmarks, some with engraved or inscribed terminals.
