A harlequin set of 18th and 19th century silver fiddle pattern flatware, comprising two Georgian table spoons by Hyam Hyams, London, 1824, 85/8in. (22cm.) long; eight dinner forks, various makers and dates; fifteen starter forks, one by Reid & Sons, Newcastle, 1847, 6 5/8in. (16.8cm.) long; thirteen dessert spoons, four assayed in Exeter to include one by Robert Williams & Sons, 1850, two by Josiah Williams & Co., 1857 and one by George Turner, 1829; ten teaspoons; and a sauce ladle, some pieces with inscribed terminals etc., weight 64 tr.oz. (49). *Mostly good condition, some pieces with slightly rubbed hallmarks, some with engraved or inscribed terminals.
A Louis XV style gilt metal mounted rosewood and kingwood serpentine centre table, c.1900, the diamond parquetry kingwood top with broad rosewood cross banding and brass galleried edge, the frieze with single drawer, stamped '7657' to the top edge, raised on angular cabriole legs with foliate mounts and sabots, 40 x 22in. (101.5 x 56cm.), 30¾in. (78cm.) high.

A fine George III Sheraton radially veneered inlaid mahogany oval Pembroke table, the tulip wood cross banded top with segmented radial flame mahogany veneer, centered by an unusually large shell and floral patera, on an oval tulip wood reserve, over a single bow fronted and cross branded end drawer with the original gilt brass handle, raised on boxwood strung square tapered legs with brass castors, 36½ x 28in. (92.7 x 71cm.) open, 18¾in. (47.5cm.) wide closed, 28in. (71cm.) high.. * Provenance: Guy Dennler, Specialist in 18th Century English Furniture, May 1998.

(124cm.) diameter, 28¾in. (73cm.) high, alterations, converted from a tilt-top, top and base possibly matched, split to top.

A mid-century mahogany cased canteen of silver plated Hanoverian style flatware by Walker & Hall, Sheffield, 1940s-50s, eight place setting, comprising eight each of table forks, dessert forks and spoons, soup spoons, tea spoons and table knives, cheese knives and fish knives and forks with ivorine handles and steel blades, plus six table spoons, six coffee spoons, two salt spoons, a mustard spoon, a butter knife, a soup ladle, a pair of sugar tongs, two sauce ladles, a pickle fork and pairs of beef, game and fish carvers with ivorine handles, plus a similar sterling silver sauce ladle and pickle fork and a small quantity of non-matching silver plated flatware, the two drawer canteen standing on cabriole legs, with key, 26¼ x 18¼in. (66.5 x 46.3cm.), 29in. (73.7cm.) high, complete.

(158.75 + 40.5cm.) long, 44in. (111.75cm.) wide, with a matching set of eight Queen Anne style chairs including two carvers, with solid vase shaped splats and drop-in seats, on cabriole legs, maker's plaques beneath seat rails. (75cm.) high.. * Provenance: Desmond Judd Auctioneers, April 2002. **In good condition overall. Shrinkage crack across central top panel. Inside of lid lacks brass stay. Very good color and polish. Old glued repair to stretcher to one side.
