An eight-piece matched silver dressing table set by Mappin & Webb and Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham, various dates 1920's/30's, with alternate narrow plain bands and broad engine-turned bands, comprising:- two pin trays, a hand-mirror, pair of clothes brushes, pair of hair brushes, a circular box with pull-off cover, also a modern comb, weighable silver 294 gm.A few dings/bruises to circular box, several tiny dings to larger pin tray, pinprick ding to each clothes brushcrease to handle of one hair brush and dings to other hair brush.
A six-piece silver and powder blue guilloche enamel dressing table set, maker's mark of Adie Brothers Ltd. overstruck by Mappin & Webb and retailed by the latter, Birmingham, 1929, rayed wavy engine-turning and anthemion motifs under the enamel, in fitted box.One clothes brush has tiny shallow surface chip in corner of one end, other one has tiny surface chip right by edge, chips to both hair brushes, big chip to comb mount, hand mirror has tiny chip to end of handle and very shallow chip to top right corner.

Wt. (without compact) 96 gm.Cigarette case lacks elasticated interior straps, dents and creases to silver cover of bottle. pinprick ding to base of compact.
