A Platinum Diamond Ring, set with a solitaire diamond, approximately 1ct, flanked by smaller white stones, size P+, gross weight 4.4g The ring presents in good overall condition showing wear commensurate with age and light usage. The main stone is securely set and all the claws are present. There are no obvious signs of damage to the stone. There is no nibbling to the girdle or table. The ring shows no obvious signs of previous damage or repair. Please note we are not qualified to grade stones. Potential bidders are strongly advised to study all images closely prior to bidding. The ring has been cleaned and whilst retaining a slight yellow tint it is much better (updated images included now in Dropbox link). The main stone measures approximately 6.82mm in diameter. We cannot accurately measure the depth due to the setting.

The top is heavily faded and there are various areas of staining (water marks). Around the edge of the frieze there is some some edge knocks and general rubbing. When looking underneath the table it appears to be extraordinarily clean, which is either and indication that it has been stripped back in the past and not re-polished, or it could potentially be a new top. The base has three areas of timber loss where the scroll moulding is completely missing, and on the edge of each triangular section there is some veneer loss around 2ins in diameter. Flight holes present, evidence of historic woodworm, and general heavier wear to feet and stretchers, commensurate with age and usage. Overall the item is structurally sound with little or no movement to the joints, appears to be in fair condition
