The slender cabriole legs headed with cast brass appliqués tapering into edge beading leading down to the decorative sabots. The top having a scrolling shelf raised on turned supports to the back centred by a carved pediment and fitted with two stop-fluted quadrant drawers either side. The entire top rotating to access the frieze compartment bearing printed maker`s label `George Simson, Upholder, Cabinet Maker & Undertaker, No 19, London` and an inscription in ink `No.306, io/ili/x, AB/S/X`. The central baluster column having a leafy parcel gilt collar above a rectangular platform with canted corners raised on hipped sabre legs ornamented with gilt acanthus appliqués and sweeping down to brass lion paw feet & castors. 29 ins (74 cms) in height, 36 ins x 17½ ins (92 cms x 44.5 cms), 36 ins x 36 ins (92 cms x 92 cms ) open.
