A pair of Chinese mother-of-pearl-inlaid tea bowls and covers and a saucerQing dynasty, 17th/18th centurySilver-mounted to bases and interiors, the bowls with simple designs of ladies in a garden, 12.3cm diam. each, the saucer also with silver rim, finely inlaid with a scholar and his attendants setting up a table under a pine tree, 12.2cm diam. (3).清 十七/十八 世紀 黑漆嵌螺鈿蓋碗一對及碗托一件Condition Report: 品相報告:All with expected surface wear and tiny losses to inlay. The bowls and covers with general denting and light bruising to metal lining. One cover and one bowl with more significant areas of cracking, the bowl with also a small lacquer loss to rim. The other bowl and cover also with a few fine cracks. The saucer with tiny dents and cracks to metal rim and a few fine cracks to well and base.
A fine Japanese lacquer box and coverEdo periodof shaped circular form, the cover decorated in gold takamaki-e with two figures in a landscape catching fireflies, decorated to the underside of the cover with the cage containing fireflies on a tall stand as a source of illumination for reading, with inscribed open book on a table, shunzan mark, 10cm diameter.Condition Report: Generally in very good condition. There is some light surface wear in places, a small scracth/ scuff to the mountain on the cover, and a few small shallow chips to the lacquer around the rim of the base.
