A French Art Deco silver coloured four piece tea and coffee service by Henin & Cie., Paris, post 1838 1st standard, circa 1930, canted-square with cushion shape finials on a moulded foot, the tea pot, coffee pot and cream jug with ivory handles, the tea pot 19cm (7 1/2in) long, the coffee pot 18cm (7in) high, 1831g (58.9 oz) gross. See sale these rooms 8th June 2010 ‘English & Continental Ceramics & Decorative Arts’, lot 118 for a four piece service in the same pattern with a tray. Henin exhibited at the 1930 exhibition ‘Décor de la Table’ at the Musée Galléria alongside Puiforcat, Lapparra, Tetard, Cardeilhac and Bloch-Eschwege.

The coronet for a count (Graf).
