Unusual late 19th century Royal Worcester table centre in the form of an Oriental kneeling man with fan, with hexagonal-shaped fountain supported on his forehead, with gilt and green and red decoration - impressed marks, 35cm high CONDITION REPORT Very slight chip to one corner of hexagonal base at foot of uppermost column, some wear to gilding and colours, otherwise ok
1920s Swiss silver and purple guilloche enamel dressing table clock of small proportions, with Swiss timepiece movement and silvered dial with bright cut decoration, in a domed case with top-mounted swing handle, on four ball feet (London Import marks for 1924), 5.5cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition quite good, silver is scratched and some dings. Enamelling is reasonably good. Top panel is chipped on one corner. Side panels and rear door have lost some of the colour. Rear door is also slightly distorted. Front panel around dial is blistered and may have been repaired. Movement appears to be in working order but we cannot vouch for accuracy. Hallmarks are clear
William IV rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid table cabinet, the stepped hinged top with mirror to underside, above two-door front enclosing fitted interior, with fabric-lined compartmentalised tray and three drawers below, the lower drawer fitted with writing slope, raised on bun feet, 34cm wide CONDITION REPORT Slight veneer losses to extremities - back edge at top front right corner. Hinged cover encloses original mirror with stationery compartment (paper-lined and deteriorated) behind some deterioration to compartmentalised tray linings, losses to silk. 1930s seven piece silver and yellow guilloche enamel dressing table set, comprising two etched cut glass jars with silver mounts, pair hair brushes, pair clothes brushes and a hand mirror (London 1932), maker - R. C., hand mirror 25cm overall length CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Silver has minor surface wear, scratching and denting commensurate with age and use. Enamelling has minor scratching. Both handled hairbrushes have damage to enamelling along border, one brush is chipped in two places, the other chipped at one end. Other pair of brushes have border chips and mirror is chipped at end of handle. Enamelled cover of one of the jars is quite badly worn around rim. Glassware is good. brush bristles are worn. Hallmarks generally clear, some minor rubbing
