A mid-19th century parcel-gilt centre table by Johnstone & Jeanes of the highest quality, the marquetry octagonal top shows to the broad border in various exotic woods, roses, thistles and shamrocks. The ornate pedestal also marquetry veneered and parcel-gilt of square open section and with upper brackets, the base of cross form has an urn form to each end under which is a concealed castor. Maximum width 135cm Impressed makers mark Johnstone & Jeanes 67 New Bond Street London (See back cover illustration) Condition report: No condition issues apart from some areas of scratching. A Chinese hardwood table lamp, early 20th century, in the form of a stylised dragon, height 67cm and a Chinese carved wood part table top, 33 x 67cm. Condition report: Lamp shade has some tears to the silk in a number of places. Also the table lamp dragon has some damage on the half table top. One dragon has part of leg missing on the half and the other dragon has part of his whisker missing.
