An oak refectory table, with rectangular three plank top and Elizabethan style carved bulbous supports and centre stretcher. Height 75 cm, width 68.5 cm, length 181 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound with no loose joints. The top is in generally good condition with no major issues. There are some minor surface blemishes and marks but no real problems. The turned bulbous supports have some stress fractures to the timbers which is usual. There is however no movement. The stretchers are a little dirty but again there is no major damage and none of the usually scuffs and marks caused by footwear. The overhang at each end is 27 cm.
An early 19th century French turnover top combination table, with double turnover top, breakfront, side drawer and fitted with a frieze drawer and raised on tapered fluted legs terminating in spade feet and also bearing plaque to rear "Barber Dealer in Antiques Windsor". Height 76 cm, width 77.5 cm, depth 38 cm.
A pair of Masons Ironstone Mandalay patterned table lamps, each with cream shade. Overall height 55 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both lamps are currently lit in the saleroom and are in generally good order. There is no evidence of any damage, no chips and no restoration. Both are a little dirty but there is no evidence of any significant crazing.
A pair of Masons Ironstone Mandalay patterned table lamps, each with pleated shade. Overall height 50 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Both lamps are currently lit in the saleroom. They are both in good order and free from any chips, damage, repairs or restoration. We can see no evidence of any crazing with the naked eye.
A Masons Ironstone Chartreuse pattern table lamp, with pleated shade. Overall height 52 cm, together with three vases and a cylindrical planter. CONDITION REPORT: All items in this lot are in good order and free from any chips, damage, repairs or restoration. There is no crazing visible to the naked eye. The cylindrical jardinière stand is a little dirty to the interior particularly around the foot wells but this should easily wash of.
A burr wood and oak crossbanded side table, fitted with four drawers and raised on moulded legs. Height 77 cm, width 110 cm, depth 29.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This side table is stable and firm on all four legs. The four drawers open and close with ease. There are no apparent losses to the cockbeading or any other moulding. There is some wear and tear to the top the odd the scratch etc in line with use and some slight discolouration around the rectangular moulded top, otherwise the piece of furniture is clean and in stable condition.
A William IV mahogany turnover top tea table, with moulded edge and with centre fluted and faceted column with quatreform base and paw feet with castors. Height 78 cm, width 96 cm, depth 48 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This table is in generally extremely good condition. The top is flat and of good colour. There are no splits. It is good quality mahogany. The interior is almost pristine. The hinges are original. There is no warping. The frieze is in good condition all round. There is a very small 2 cm section of beading missing on the rear left hand return. The centre column is in good order. The quatreform base has some minor nibbles and old marks but no significant issues. The feet are all in good condition and the castors beneath are original. There is no evidence of any woodworm.
A 19th century Welsh mahogany occasional table, with shaped top turned column and circular base raised on toupie feet. Height 67 cm, top width 40 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound. The top has numerous old ring and liquid marks. The top also has a full width stress fracture which has slight movement on one side. The bearer to the top of the stem and the stem itself have woodworm holes. This is probably long gone. The circular base also has been affected with woodworm.
A late Victorian aesthetic movement amboyna wood and ebonised turnover top games table, with spindled gallery, turned legs and brass and ceramic castors. Height 72 cm, width 92 cm, depth 45.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound with no loose joints. It is in original unrestored condition. The centre veneered panel has numerous old scratches and liquid marks. The ebonised edge also has scratches and minor losses to the ebonise finish particularly to the corners and front edge. The top is not warped. The interior is in generally good condition. The tooled leather surround to the baize is in good condition generally with only minor imperfections. The card playing surface is a little stained and liquid marked in places. The frieze and spindled gallery are in good condition all round. The piece is finished at the back also so could be freestanding. All legs are in good order and the castors are original.
A 19th century satinwood worktable, twin drop flap with frieze drawer and sliding bag raised on tapered legs of square section with shaped stretchers. Height 75 cm, width 44 cm, depth 51 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is in generally good order. It is structurally sound with no loose joints. The top is flat as are the flaps. There is one small repair to the right hand flap and very minor ring marks. The crossbanded veneered edge is intact all round but slightly lifting in places. The drawer has minor edge nibbles. The cloth to the bag is showing signs of age. The stretchers are in good order as are the legs which do not appear to have had any repairs.
A Victorian carved oak centre table, with frieze drawer bulbous supports and low stretcher. Height 74 cm, width 102 cm, depth 64 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The joints and structure to this table are not entirely solid, there is some movement to it when standing on its legs. Plenty of wear and staining throughout the piece of furniture, ingrained dirt and some splitting to the top oak board. Significant wear to the carved feet where they have come in to contact with peoples feet over time. This table has seen significant wear and tear.
A late 19th/early 20th century marquetry and rosewood bijouterie table, raised on spiral twist turned legs and stretchers. Height 73 cm, width 67 cm, depth 51 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound with no loose joints. The glass is original and the beadwork to the top is all present. The marquetry is principally intact with only very small losses and old repairs. The front panel is a little faded but not significantly. The edge moulding below the front panel is missing. The left hand rear leg appears to have had a break below the top turning at the top of the barley twist section. The repair is visible and a little crude. It is however structurally sound. All other legs are in good order. The rear panel is also missing the bottom half round moulding. The table does have a key and the lock operates.
A 19th century mahogany tripod table, with circular top with snap action and turned column. Height 71 cm, diameter 48 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound and in generally good order. The top is flat with no serious staining, scratches and no splits. The snap action operates as it should. The bearers are in good condition. The centre column is in good order. All legs are in good condition with no breaks or repairs.
An antique oak cricket table, with circular top and angled legs with shelf between. Height 72 cm, diameter 66 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table top has numerous ink and other liquid stains. It has scuffs, scratches, marks and losses and repairs also. Nail tops are visible. The base is structurally fairly sound and in generally better order than the top. We can see no evidence of any repairs to the legs. There are traces of old woodworm but this appears long gone. The base is oak, the top is pine.
