Original vintage advertising poster: BP – Drilling. This poster was published by BP to explain the drilling process to prove the existence of oil bearing rocks formations. This poster features a large stylised illustration depicting a drilling unit with numbers indicating the names of the different part of the unit. Above, the poster also features two smaller images showing close up views of the rotary table and of the drilling bit and how the mud slurry removes the cuttings. The text is printed above and under the under the small images and at the bottom of the poster, in stylised black letters. Printed in England at The Baynard Press.
