The diamonds are bright and lively, colour varying from H-K, clarity varying, but mostly SI. The settings are gold and silver. The chain is later, the Victorian gem set section has been adapted, there is a hook to the top of the cluster, and the chain is later. There is thinning to the bottom loop that the drop is suspended from, you could almost swap the side the drop hangs from the vacant hook at the top. A sapphire and diamond three stone ring, the circular cut sapphire estimated to weigh 1.48 carats, flanked by two brilliant cut diamonds, approximately 1.40 carats total, finger size R 1/2, 3.4g grossCondition Report: The sapphire measures 7.2mm diameter x 3.9mm deep, there are nibbles and small chips to the crown facets, the diamonds are bright and lively, colour estimated G-H, clarity- one has a large natural to the crown and a large chip to the pavilion, and a small clear inclusion under the table, the other stone VS, assessed in settings.The setting has wear, a couple of claws holding the diamonds have been worn away, the other claws are thin, and the shank has been replaced and has thinning some rubbing to the gallery where it has been worn with another ring.Condition Report Disclaimer

A three stone ruby and diamond ring, the central oval cut ruby estimated to weigh 1.70 carats, flanked by two brilliant cut diamonds, approximately 1.10 carats total, in a platinum and gold coloured setting, hallmarked London 2001, finger size L, 7.6g grossCondition Report: The ruby has some nicks to the table facet edges, two chips to the side of the stone at the girdle, next to one of the diamonds, it has some typical inclusions. The diamonds one colour estimated H, the other I-J, clarity SI1, some small mineral inclusions, assessed on settings. The setting has wear where the ring has been worn with another ring to the gallery and the shank, there is a split to the setting by one of the claws, the claws have thinning, one claw is slightly splitting. Lot 314

A Victorian walnut writing, games and work table, the hinged lid with a chequer board top revealing a tooled leather section with spaces for pens and ink bottles, with a shallow well and hinged writing slope, with pullout drawer, on plain cylindrical supports terminating in heavily carved scroll feet, 72cm high, 56cm wide, 46cm deep. On initial inspection the games top is slightly warped and lifting to the right side, there is a 1.5cm long narrow strip of ebony veneer missing from one chequer board square, and there are additional minor marks and blisters top the top. The writing slope has a horizontal crack through the centre and scuffing where the original pull was sited. The sewing drawer interior looks to have been replaced and the drawer front has scuffing to the lower edge. The bucket top edge front has a 7cm long crack below the boxwood line inlay at the right side. The base appears to have a join repair to the front right leg and the structure has some degree of wobble. No keys.
