The diamonds are bright and lively, colour varying from H-K, clarity varying, but mostly SI. The settings are gold and silver. The chain is later, the Victorian gem set section has been adapted, there is a hook to the top of the cluster, and the chain is later. There is thinning to the bottom loop that the drop is suspended from, you could almost swap the side the drop hangs from the vacant hook at the top. A Chinese red lacquer and 'Shibyama' dining suite, decorated with figures in a garden, flowers and geometric motifs, the table of oval form, raised on cabriole legs, 78cm high, 184cm wide, 106cm deep, together with eight dining chairs, with loose cushion seats, raised on cabriole legs, comprising pair of carvers and six single chairs.
A Victorian walnut writing, games and work table, the hinged lid with a chequer board top revealing a tooled leather section with spaces for pens and ink bottles, with a shallow well and hinged writing slope, with pullout drawer, on plain cylindrical supports terminating in heavily carved scroll feet, 72cm high, 56cm wide, 46cm deep. On initial inspection the games top is slightly warped and lifting to the right side, there is a 1.5cm long narrow strip of ebony veneer missing from one chequer board square, and there are additional minor marks and blisters top the top. The writing slope has a horizontal crack through the centre and scuffing where the original pull was sited. The sewing drawer interior looks to have been replaced and the drawer front has scuffing to the lower edge. The bucket top edge front has a 7cm long crack below the boxwood line inlay at the right side. The base appears to have a join repair to the front right leg and the structure has some degree of wobble. No keys.
