A Victorian oak centre table, the octagonal top on turned supports with plain stretchers, carved with patera, on turned feet, 97cm wide. Provenance: Letter to underside from a Sopwith & Co of Newcastle Upon Tyne to an F Lawson Esq. of Nelthorpe Gosforth "This oak octagonal table is made out of an old joist belonging to a house in Newcastle On Tyne, built between 600 and 700 years ago, this tree is supposed to have grown on the banks of the Tyne
A George III mahogany campaign knee-hole dressing table, the plain rectangular top hinging to reveal a fitted interior with retractable mirror, fitted with an open compartment flanked with hinged boxes revealing a plain interior, above a dummy frieze the central cupboard flanked by six cockbeaded drawers, each with plate back handles, the whole on ogee bracket feet with metal side carrying handles, 89cm wide x 48.5cm deep x 81cm high.
An Italian Art Deco design melamine finish dining room suite, comprising a large D-end sideboard with leather fittings centred by two cupboards flanked by further cupboards with a fitted interior, 214cm wide x 61cm deep x 91cm high, a dining table with a white polished wooden border and eight (6+2) chairs in cream with leather backs and seats, of modern construction. The upholstery in this lot does not comply with the 1988 (Fire & Furnishings) Regulations unless sold to a known exporter or upholsterer, it will be cut from the frame before leaving the premises.

Superb EF, underlying luster, a touch of die wear on obverse. Sharply struck on a broad flan. Very rare year 1/2 hybrid, the finest known. Ex Shoshana Collection (Part I, Heritage, 8 March 2012), lot 20255.As noted in Hendin, the first selas of year 2 were struck using the same obverse die that had been used on all the year 1 selas, and are thus considered hybrids. Another carryover from the first year is the more broadly formed flan that extends well beyond the edge of the dies.

A small cow hide rug, branded with a swastika, reputedly from the farm of a prominent Nazi in Argentina; a small white linen table cloth, the edge crocheted with a design incorporating swastikas; a wooden gavel used by Judge E B Luard in the Court Martial of Cpl Alexander Chisholme in May 1915; a small framed portrait photograph, possibly of a Suffragette; and a certificate from the Borough of Wimbledon, for valuable services to the community, 1935.
