CONDITION REPORT The top of the chest has a large scratch from the left hand side with further scuffs to the left most side, further light surface scratches throughout commensurate with use, the dressing table has a later plinth to the back and the uprights for the mirror no longer fit, some modifications would be required to re-instate the mirrors, largest mirror has a crack on the right hand side and there is further patches down the side where the backing is coming away, further light surface wear throughout commensurate with use.Headboard, overall solid but used condition with slight paint overspray in some small places and light surface wear throughout commensurate with useall three pieces are suffering from sun fading

Lot 13

A late 19th/early 20th century oak monks' bench with three panels to the back and carved top rail, the seat with foliate and scroll carving, to block supports, 95 x 105 x 42cm. CONDITION REPORT The construction of the top plinth serving as a table top is set in three panels, there is a small gap either side of the central panel. It functions as it should do. The carved box seat lid has a split through it/a join that has opened up a little bit. There is a little bit of fading to the polish on the box seat and the arms commensurate with use, but overall very well presented.
