An Edwardian sapphire and seed pearl pendant, a pear cut sapphire in a claw setting to a heart shaped knife edge frame set with seed pearls, with a seed pearl drop and bail, measures 5cm by 4.7cm NB: The sapphire may be synthetic Gemmological testing indicates the sapphire May be synthetic but inconclusive. The sapphire in this case May be a replacement stone. The pendant is in good condition. There is slight wear and discolouration to the seed pearls. The sapphire has a scratch to the table. The sapphire measures 8.5mm x 5.5mm x 3.8mm approximately. It is stamped '9CT' and in our opinion would test as gold. Gross weight 3.8 grams. Condition Report made 7th December 2017.
