A Regency period rosewood console table with brass inlaid band to top, ormolu rope edging and ormolu decoration of central palm branches with hawks to either side and Egyptian caryatid down-swept front supports ending in a pair of ormolu slender female feet, on a rectangular base, 93 x 117cm. CONDITION REPORT Age related wear cracks to the top of the table and small areas missing, some lifting of the ormolu inlay to the top, small areas of edging banding missing, cracks in the veneer to either side and front, some missing pieces of rope ormolu missing mainly to the front, some loosening to the joints, no apparent restoration.
