[North West India, 1691-1692] Four hundred and fifty (approx) leaves, with MS Arabic to both sides, eight ornate gilt and painted title pieces, table of contents giving a list of chapters, gilt and ink border throughout, verses separated by pointed gold roundels, Surah headings in red and gilt, copius annotations to margins throughout, handmade paper, full contemporary leather protected by cotton with remnants of colourful cloth pastedown, some small repairs but generally in a very good condition.Previously valued at the British Museum in 1966 by G. Meredith-Owens 'your small copy of the Koran is most probably from N.W. India, judging by the script, decoration and cloth binding. It was copied in A.H. 1103.... according to the colophon in which the name of the copyist is not given.'

Two Indian cotton and embroidered silk table runners, early 20th century. Each with floral designs and small circular mirrors, 88 x 25cm and 73 x 25cm. (2)Private West Cornwall collection from late 1970's to present day. Items were purchased on worldwide travels from antique markets and private sources.
Pair of reproduction kidney-shaped side tables, width 44cm, height 68cm, and two beech-framed chairs, one with oval back, fluted legs, the other with studded upholstered back, carved frame, width 87cm.Qty: 4Condition report:The wood on the top of one table is lifting, with a piece missing in the middle. Both shelves have stains and loss of varnish. Both tables also feel a bit wobbly. The joints one the top of the oval backed chair are pulling apart but the chair itself is sound. There is a crack to the top right edge of the other chair but it is also sound in general. Please see additional uploaded images.
Victorian burr walnut tripod table, circular top with serpentine edge, fluted column on three scrolled legs, diameter 67cm, height 71cm.Condition report:The top has some splitting occuring, with one travelling through the top surface as well as the bottom surface. Other spot areas of veneer patches to the top. The column and supports are generally ok, no evident splits or repairs.
Georgian mahogany tripod table,circular tilt top, turned and ringed column, three splayed legs, diameter 74cm, height 73cm.Condition report:The top planks are splitting along the join lines, two with an evident gap. There is also a historic split along the length of the top. The top is possibly a replacement, certainly the batons to the underside are new with the latch hardware having been moved, and the top block of the pedestal is also new. The pedestal and supports have age. One foot has been split and repaired with a metal bracket to the underside.
