Group comprising: State of Connecticut Pay-Table Office documents printed in black and stating 'Lawful Silver Money, out of the Tax of Two Shillings and Sixpence on the Pound'; two manuscript named to Captain Reuben Scofield (twenty shillings, 27 December 1781) and Captain William Starr (twenty shillings, 29 December 1781); with four examples named in print to Ralph Pomeroy (for thirty shillings, three pounds, six pounds and eight pounds, 20 September 1781 to 18 February 1782); all print signed John Laurence, treasurer and bearing various manuscript endorsements and other signatures. 8.41 grams total, 16 x 11cm.
