A Victorian mahogany adjustable reading table in the manner of Carter 43 cm wide x 81 cm long (top) x 60.5 cm high minimum CONDITION REPORTS Max height approx 1 m 3 cm. Two section tilting top - one has a book rest off but present - see images and the interior of that section is also cracked. There is heavy surface scratching to the top and there is some warping - again see images. Mechanism works although the ratchets are missing chunks variously. Base has an area of scuffing / chipping. There is a crack to the main pedestal running nearly all the way down. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more details.

Craquelure / crazing throughout. There is a strange line to the bottom right hand corner of the painting and some gold remnants at the top right hand corner - possibly off the gilt frame. Some small flakes missing and some very light surface scratches, etc. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more details.
