Frank Hudson & Son Ltd, for Harrods Knightsbridge, in the Arts and Crafts style, an oak dining table with draw leaves, together with a set of 8 chairs including two carvers. The table is constructed of five planks with cleated ends and pegged joints. The table has a decorative frieze below the surface and four tapered legs. The chairs have a central spear motif made up of three panels with a tapering central stretcher underneath and orange/rust coloured cushion. Table: 200cm (79") wide, 99cm (39") deep, 76cm (30") high. The leaves will extend the table by 38cm (15") each. Chairs: 47cm (18.5") wide, 50cm (19.5") deep, 76cm (30") high.Condition report: In great overall condition. Some damage/movement to the four joints at each corner on the table photographed. This has been caused by temperature change over time. This has caused the wood to split at one corner.

A Victorian walnut dressing table, with shaped front, fitted with two frieze drawers, raised on twisted supports, stamped C Hindley & Sons 134 Oxford Street London 1045 to one drawer, 57ins x 30ins, height 29.5insIt is believed this lot was acquired from Witley Court sale in 1938 and possibly part of Lot 222. Charles Hindley and Sons were commissioned by William Humble Ward the 1st Earl of Dudley.
