Arthur Simpson of Kendal (1857-1922)/An oak occasional table with two folding flaps and gate legs, the side supports with two parallel vertical through-dovetail joints, bearing Simpson's stamp to the underside of the bottom cross rail, 72.5cm high, 84cm long, 23cm wide (extending to 115cm with flaps open) CONDITION REPORT: The table top has a few scratched and chips acceptable with age, as do the legs, but generally good condition for age.
Collinson & Lock, manner of E W Godwin, a mahogany occasional table, late 19th Century, in the Aesthetic taste, Collinson & Lock plaque with no 6976, the circular top with shaped apron surround on five turned and tapered supports, joined by wavy stretchers, 81cm wide CONDITION REPORT: There are noticeable old scratches to the top and one area of recent stain which is superficial, base sound and in good condition and ware acceptable with age.
Nanna Ditzel (1923-2005)/A Danish writing desk in rosewood and oak, designed 1958 for Soren Willadsen, model number 12478, the four frieze drawers with recessed handles, 167cm wide, 75cm deep, 73cm high CONDITION REPORT: Surface veneer in very good condition. Drawer fronts good. Second drawer from right has minor chip to lower corner. One drawer has split to a knot of wood on the underside, not visible from above. Minor scuff marks to lower right corner of table. Polish abrasions to rear right corner. Very minor dents and bruises to legs and stretchers. Lock plates stamped Elzen/Made in Hungary - no keys. Overall in very good condition. (An Article 10 permit has been granted by CITES, allowing us to sell this item.)
A late 17th Century oak credence table with thick boarded oak top and hinged back flap with pull-out leg support, the carved frieze on four boldly turned legs with platform beneath, 103cm wide, 57.5cm deep, 83cm high CONDITION REPORT: Flap support leg detached, later split joint supports to the back and later hinges. Original metal side plate hinges both broken. The flap support leg split and leg support stretchers slot in to recesses in top and bottom board supports. Turn side finial later and aprons and side poppy finials later additions. Left hand leg artificially distressed at back and base frieze later addition.
A late 18th Century oak and elm turners table with circular top on a baluster turned column and three splay feet/Provenance: Key Antiques, Chipping Norton January 2008 CONDITION REPORT: Although pillar and top support is nailed there is a circular hole in top of table. Column highly polished and all three legs glued.
A Victorian mahogany drum table with decorative inlay to top and four drawers, 53cm wide CONDITION REPORT: Veneer lifting with some splits, border with minor chipping, revolving top fairly stiff and veneer with minor splits to frieze. Turned column middle collar and lower ball split, base collar split, triform base with split and minor chips, feet scuffed.

An Art Deco silver and enamel dressing table set, Adie Bros., Birmingham 1938, import marks for Dublin 1929, to include jars, scent bottles, hairbrush, clothes brush and hand mirror and a manicure set, contained in a fitted suitcase CONDITION REPORT: Tiny chip to glass at corner of tall scent bottle. Enamels in good condition. The case itself has some minor wear in line with age and usage, one of the main metal clip fastenings is loose and the little button that holds the brush in place is also faulty. Overall a nice set.
A 1930s cut glass crystal three-branch, four-light table light, with three hexagonal scroll branches and cupped lights on a cut baluster column and circular base, 45cm high CONDITION REPORT: Missing one domed cover. Two of the existing ones have had chips polished from the widest rim.The central bowl sitting above the three arms is married and cut with strawberry diamonds rather than stars. There are a few small chips around the footrim as may be expected but nothing significant or immediately noticeable.
An Art Deco style vase, of globe form in cream glaze with coloured geometric patterns, indistinctly signed, 23cm high and a retro style table lamp, the pottery base decorated abstract designs, 42cm high (2) CONDITION REPORT: The Deco vase has a chip to the edge of the foot. Crazing throughout. Some white marks to shoulder, these look like paint so could perhaps be removed.The lamp has been off at the base of neck and repaired. Small area of loss to glaze where electric flex goes in, flex will be removed.
Knut Hesterberg (born 1941) for Ronald Schmitt/A Propeller coffee table, model K-9, with circular clear glass top and aluminium base, 121cm diameter, 54cm high CONDITION REPORT: Overall condition very good. Glass has two areas with black marks, possibly caused by rubbing against the black pads on which it rests. Light scratching throughout, consistent with use, and one area of more concentrated scratching. Two very small chips to bevelled edge. Metal frame sturdy but with some spotting, would benefit from repolishing. No maker's mark or stamp.
Neil Morris (Contemporary)/An elm dining table, circa 2008/9, the wavy book matched solid elm top on a solid sycamore frame, 180cm long, 95cm wide, 75cm high/Note: purchased by the vendor from Neil Norris, who was at the time working with The Wood School, situated within the Lothian Estates, Scottish Borders. The Estate has many mature hardwood trees so it is probable that the wood was sourced from there. Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) for Fritz Hansen/A circular table, model 3600, designed 1964, 120cm diameter, 70cm high CONDITION REPORT: Top would benefit from repolishing. Approx 6 cracks to the veneered surface. Stains, dents and scratch marks throughout. Metal legs and frame chipped and rubber tips to legs worn. A solid table in used condition, as to be expected from regular use in a family kitchen ever since purchased from new.
Robin Day (1923-2003)/An upholstered recliner armchair, designed 1952 for Hille, upholstered seat and back with wood table-type arms CONDITION REPORT: Upholstery very worn, commensurate with regular use from new. Arm trays have faded from the original colour seen underneath and are scuffed and slightly stained. Metal frame scuffed but generally sound. Overall, a solid chair with very worn upholstery.
