With a rectangular white enamelled dial with Roman numerals, with a two train eight day movement striking on a bell, the back plate and case numbered 611 in various places, the elaborate cast case with all over scrolling and figural decoration, the base adorned with hanging bunches of grapes, the back door with all over strapwork decoration, and the handle in the form of two entwined mermaids, 21cm high (with handle up) 12cm wide and 11cm deep. The 25cm dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals with subsidiary seconds dial and circular date aperture within engraved initials IWE, with ringed winding holes, the corners with scrolling spandrels, with an eight day two train four pillar movement striking on a bell. The ebonised case with flat topped hood, the glass flanked by spiral turned columns, the tall trunk door with glass lenticle, the interior with Ivorine label ''Percy Webster Vendor', 18th century and later, 188cm high, 42.5cm wide and 23cm deep. With an arched painted dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary date and seconds dials, the arch signed 'Martin Maidstone' with an eight day two train movement striking on a bell, the case with domed hood and three ball and spike finials, the trunk with arch topped door, 226cm high, 48cm wide.

A FINE GEORGE II EBONY CASED BRACKET CLOCK BY CLAUDIUS DU CHESNE. A late 17th or early 18th century bracket clock, with an arched dial with silvered chapter ring enclosing a matted ground with visible pendulum bob, twin winding holes and date aperture, with subsidiary date and 'Silence/Sonne' dial and moon phase beneath an arch 'Claudius Du Chesne Londini Fecit, the dial 19.5cm x 13.5cm. With a two train fusee movement striking on four bells and an hour bell with pull repeat, with verge escapement and beautifully engraved back plate with cupid holding a bow and arrow amongst scrolling foliage and exotic birds. The ebonised case with all over gilt mounts and twin carrying handles, the raised top with a central finial, surrounded by four lower finials, the arch topped glazed door beneath brass fret panels and stop fluted square fronted columns, on stepped base, the sides with pierced brass panels. 41cm high, 26.5cm wide, 20cm deep. Claudius Du Chesne is recorded as working in London between 1693 and 1730.
