Some woodworm holes and some woodworm damage. Some deterioration to the mirror plate. Some quite pronounced scratching and gouges to the sides. Some small splits to the wood. However, overall condition appears reasonable. Size approx 130 cm wide x 48 cm deep x 223 cm high. Overall with wear, scuffs and knocks and bumps conducive with age and use. Some scratches and chips. The back appears to be hardboard. Internal drawers behind fall flap with some handles missing and some handles as replacements. Some sections with moulding loose. Some chips and cracks to veneers. Bears scraches and scuffs. Cornice is very plain and slightly darker and may be associated. One door with large vertical crack.
An early 19th century mahogany and cross banded bureau, the fall front opening to reveal various drawers, pigeon holes and door, above three long graduated drawers to bracket feet and shaped apron CONDITION REPORTS Wear and scuffs and scratches conducive with age and use. Front appears to have a good colour and patination. Some chips and losses and some lifting and splitting to veneers and inlay. Inlay appears to be of good quality - including double stringing etc, and handles and keyhole surrounds/key escutcheons have quite good detailing. Approx size 86 x x 51 d x 101cm high.
