A WWII Second World War era mid-20th Century ship's navigational compass and binnacle. The compass of gimbal form, with directional indicators to the white dial. Housed within its original metal binnacle with glass viewing panel to top. Original electric fitment remains to side door for viewing (untested, requires rewiring as plug removed). A 19th Century mahogany bow fronted sideboard, the central drawer flanked by a deep drawer and cupboard door, raised on square tapered legs to spade feet, 183 cm wide x 59.5 cm deep x 91.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Both side panels have splits, the drawer front of the cellerette side is gaping at the top. There are splits to the drawer liners. The apron has damage to the edges particularly to the right hand side, appears to have taken a few knocks. General wear and tear conducive to age and use, to include knocks, bumps, scratches etc. See images for more details.
