John Dobie, Tanfield: an 18th Century eight-day longcase clock, the 13inch arched brass dial with roman hours and arabic minutes, with subsidiary date and seconds dial, the arch with painted moon phase and striking a bell, contained within an oak hood with dentil moulded cornice and fluted corinthian columns, above an ogee waist door, flanked by canted angles, raised on a plinth base, 213cms high.

John Shaw, Holborn: an 18th Century eight-day pine longcase clock, the 12inch square brass dial and silvered chapter ring, with roman hours and arabic seconds, subsidiary seconds dials and striking a bell, enclosed by gilt spandrels, contained within a mahogany hood, flanked by three-quarter turned columns and foliate scroll frieze, above moulded waist door raised on a box base and shaped bracket feet, 247cms high.
