Great Eastern Railway 6inch Mahogany cased Fusee Bracket clock supplied to the G.E.R. circa 1890. The English chain driven fusee movement has rectangular plates with turned pillars, the original dial has been lightly restored in original style and displays G.E.R 1087 it retains its original cast brass bezel and sight ring. The mahogany case has a solid rear door with a keyed lock. The L.N.E.R. records show that this clock was used at Stratford Chief Mechanical Engineers department Subway Office and was transferred there in March 1940 replacing clock number 1396 which was destroyed by Enemy action. Complete with pendulum, keys and a copy of the LNER clock record. In working condition recently oiled but not tested for timekeeping, stands 14.25in tall.
Great Northern Railway 8in mahogany cased fusee clock by John Walker of London. The English wire driven fusee movement has rectangular plates and turned pillars and is in good clean condition. The mahogany case has one side door and a bottom door with lock removed and secured with a brass latch and is in good condition and retains its original cast brass bezel. The dial has been repainted post 1948 by the clock workshops at Doncaster and now displays BR(E) 9242. The LNER clock records confirm that clock No 9242 was in use at Bingham Station office Notts and was transferred to March in 1982 to be sold. A nice 19th century Walker timepiece in working condition complete with pendulum, key and a copy of the clock record, but not tested for timekeeping.

The English chain driven fusee movement has rectangular snailed plates, the original dial has been lightly restored in original style and displays G.E.R it retains its original cast brass bezel and sight ring. The Gothic style carved mahogany case has a glazed rear door with a keyed lock and the clock number 907 is pencilled inside. The L.N.E.R. records show that this clock was used at Liverpool Street Land Agent, Inner Office, Hamilton Buildings office. A rare and unusual Railway timepiece used by senior employees, complete with pendulum, keys and a copy of the LNER clock record. In working condition but not tested for timekeeping, stands 15in tall. This clock is featured on page 163 Fig 5.48 of the Railway Clock book by Ian Lyman.
London and North Western Railway 12 inch dial mahogany cased fusee railway clock supplied to the LNWR around 1870-1880 by W.H.Rees of Abergavenny. The rectangular plated wire driven fusee movement has rectangular plates and turned pillars. The mahogany case with a BR-W ivorine numberplate 4327 screwed to the right hand side has a thin one piece turned surround dovetailed back box with one side door and a replaced bottom door. The original dial is lettered W.H.REES ABERGAVENNY. In working condition but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key. Rees supplied clocks to the LNWR including lines on the Heads of the Valleys which later came under Western Region control
Rhymney Railway 12in oak cased chain driven fusee railway clock. The oak case with eight piece surround has two side doors and a bottom door secured with the typical GWR ball bearing catch. The GWR ivorine numberplate 729 is screwed onto the left hand side. The large A frame chain driven fusee movement is in good clean condition. The original dial with GWR in roundel style has visible as ghosted writing Spiridion & Son R.R.Co Cardiff 112. In lovely original working condition recently oiled and keeping good time, complete with pendulum and key.
London & South Western Railway 8 inch mahogany cased fusee railway clock with a cast brass bezel and a rectangular plated wire driven English fusee movement. Supplied to the LSWR circa 1880 by John Walker London. The original dial displays BR(S) JOHN WALKER 1 SOUTH MOLTON ST LONDON 4422 SW. The case has one side door and a bottom door. The Southern Railway clock records show this clock as last in use at Ryde IOW Railwaymen's sports and social club and previously at Dena Crossing Whitwell before closure of the line. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key. A rare chance to obtain a genuine Isle Of Wight clock as this is first one in decades to come onto the open market.
A Mahogany cased Longcase Clock having an arched door and mirrored swan-neck pediment, the arched painted face with a nicely detailed hunting scene, gilded and floral corners and having Arabic numerals, the maker being ''Potts,York'', running at the time of lotting, 19 1/8'' wide x 9 1/4'' deep x 89 1/4'' high, striking the hours on a bell, and with inset second hand and date register.

A Victorian walnut collectors cabinet, the pair of doors enclosing a fitted interior with an arrangement of eleven drawers arranged around a single arched door enclosing a shelf and three drawers, on a plinth base, 66cms wide.Condition Reportthe right hand pinned door is broken at the bottom pin and there are several small areas of veneer missing to the main case.

An early 20th century bracket clock, with a four glass case, the eight day movement striking on a gong, on scrolled brass feet, 23cm highOverall complete and working, but dirty. Ticks, winds, strikes and agjusts ok. No key for the case. A split in the wood at the base of the door. Edge of wooden frame split around glass on one side. Case generally dry and marked.
Arthur Trevor Haddon, RBA, 1864-1941, Warwick Leicester's Hospital & West Gate, signed and dated 1894, together with the companion, Warwick East Gate, a pair, 46 x 60cm (2)Overall they are complete and framed. Both appear dirty and have a crazing within the paint. Both clearly signed and and titled in red. The painting with the cart has two white marks to the left hand margin of the picture, one halfway up and the other near the corner, some black specks and a small pressed in hole on the pavement, which is not easy to see, just below the door. The other picture is similar but to a lesser extent. No further obvious damage or repairs. They appear to have been mounted and framed recently. Removed from a local house in Essex.

Missing a hinge and some moulding to door panels are taped on. One ivory escutcheon missing. Has key that works. Shelves inside. Doors look flat and to have old glass. Generally in tired condition, with a dull dirty finish inside and out, various knocks and surface marks. Sides are polished. Shelves are 12 inches deep inside.
