An 18th century walnut cased eight day longcase clock, the moulded domed hood above arched door with silvered chapter ring set with Roman numerals above subsidiary seconds hand with date aperture, spandrels representing the four seasons, and oval cartouche inscribed "William Wilkinson, Congleton", above long arched door and stepped plinth base, height 222cm. CONDITION REPORT: Width of dial 31.3cm.
An Edwardian hallmarked silver carriage clock, the swing loop handle above plain case, the circular white enamel dial set with Roman numerals, French movement and squat bun feet, Drew & Sons, London 1901, 6.5 x 4.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: A small loss to the enamel and area of repair on the dial. A few small areas of scratches or dints, mildly misshapen front corner, one edge and area around the dial and three feet. The back door with areas of scratches to the inside and dints caused by repair of movements. We cannot guarantee this is in working order.
A late 17th century walnut and inlaid Continental cabinet, the upper section with central cupboard door surrounded by drawers and raised on a square section base, width of upper section 57cm. CONDITION REPORT: As can be clearly seen, this piece has suffered extensive restorations, two drawers are completely new, two drawer fronts have new sections, the top now hinges, sections of inlay, veneer is missing etc.
A Victorian mahogany four door invert breakfront sideboard, the moulded top above central cushion moulded drawer and two recess cupboard doors flanked by further drawers and cupboard doors to a plinth base, width 184cm. CONDITION REPORT: The top is a totally different colour of mahogany and is a more modern replacement.
An Edwardian painted satinwood bureau bookcase, the broken swan neck pediment above twin glazed door, hinged fall enclosing a painted fitted interior, above four long graduated drawers raised on splayed bracket feet, painted throughout with garlands of flowers, baskets and ribbon tied decoration to the front and sides, width 79cm. CONDITION REPORT: Minor losses to veneer, scuffs to shut panel at base of upper door (see additional images), otherwise appears good with no further obvious signs of faults, damage or restoration.
