A most unusual and appealing narrow Mahogany Bookcase/Display Cabinet on Stand having a 13 pane geometrically glazed door, the base with a cupboard and a drawer, the frieze over nicely inlaid in various woods depicting scrolling foliage, the whole raised on tapering square legs also having inlaid decoration. Some losses. 19 1/4" wide, 18 1/2" deep, 80" high.
A mid-Victorian mahogany ledgeback chiffonier, having scroll detail, twin cushion frieze drawers over twin recessed panelled cupboard doors, w.137cm.Small surface dents throughout, but nothing significant.With key.Doors open and close freely and drawers run well.Width 137cm, height 93.5cm (to top surface), depth 59cm.Stands well.Good original colour/patina.One area of moulding (approx. 8cm) to upper right edge of right hand door has been repaired.
A Victorian figured walnut breakfront fitted wardrobe, having a moulded cornice and centre mirror door, flanked by arched panelled doors, all with applied leaf and flower carvings, having fitted linen slides over three drawers, h.211cm, w.222cm.Splits down into – cornice, plinth, larger mirrored door, two flanking sections, and central section (which does not come in half).Some light scratching and minor losses to carved section.Otherwise good and clean overall.
A 19th century ormolu mounted walnut pier cabinet, the line inlaid moulded stepped top with a band of ormolu decoration, above the deep frieze over the shaped glazed door enclosing shelves, flanked by ormolu appliques, standing on a plinth base with further ormolu appliques. 112 cm high; 82 cm wide, 30 cm deep.
An 18th century mahogany cased longcase clock, the rosette carved arched broken swan-neck pediment above the brass face, the silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals enclosing twin winding apertures, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, engraved Wm. Hargreaves, Settle, the case with arched crossbanded door, standing on shaped bracket feet. Approximately 235 cm high.
A late 18th/early 19th century mahogany longcase clock, the arched top surmounted with brass eagle and ball finial, flanked by turned finials, the brass face with silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals enclosing the twin winding apertures, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, engraved Smith London, the case with moulded arched door above the moulded panel, standing on a plinth base. 225 cm high.
