With three brass cased weights, pendulum and key. Dinky Toys/Meccano vintage 1930s Dolly Varden dollhouse furniture, 1:24 scale (17 pieces), including: 4 x brown (wood effect) dining tables, 9 x brown (wood effect) chairs, 1 x white table (possibly repainted), 1 x cream and green table, 1 x green chair and 1 x blue fridge/cabinet, all have some form of paint loss; fridge/cabinet is missing door and one hinge, unboxed, Good to Good Plus, 1-2" tall; (qty).
VINYL LPS (THE) PENTANGLE: all bought on issue, they are: 'The Pentangle' TRA 162, 'Basket of Light' TRA 205, 'Cruel Sister' TRA 228, 'Reflection' TRA 240, 'Solomon's Seal' K44197, 'Sweet Child' TRA 178, 'Open the Door', (this one has water damage to sleeve). All in excellent condition apart from the last mentioned.
A Newlyn copper door finger plate. Repousse decorated with a fish swimming amongst seaweed, and inset with a porcelain turquoise cabouchon. 28.5cm x 7.5cm.The turquoise cabochon has a small chip and is not properly fixed in place, there is an area of glue residue at the bottom of the finger plate.
An Edwardian mahogany inlaid breakfront wardrobe. The central section with linen press above two short and two long drawers flanked by hanging space raised on a plinth base, height 210cm width 232cm depth 58cm.All joints are firm and stable, the left hand central door has a split and associated grazes, general wear, stains scratches commensurate with age and usage, the far right hand edge with bumps chips and losses. A George III mahogany apothecary cabinet. The interior with fitted compartments and drawers, various glass jars and scales, and with an opening rear door containing further bottles and stoppers, height 26.5cm width 21cm depth 20cm.There are a few minor issues, but generally the condition is acceptable. The lock engages and also secures the lower door with a sprung catch, there is one catch missing from the lock plate.There is a small split internally at the top and some loss of veneer, with a small replacement let in at the bottom of the door, near the front right foot. Some staining and discolouration, particularly on one side, please see the additional images online.
Gordon Russell (1892-1980) A pair of oak bedside cabinets with an open shelf above a single cupboard door enclosing a single shelf on a plinth base and castors circa 1935, height 76cm width 39.5cm depth 35.5cm. (2) Sturdy. Small surface marks. Watermarks to surface (see photo) of one and small wood chip to rear of one. No evidence of woodworm. Fitted with later casters.
A Victorian walnut and inlaid music cabinet. With a single glazed door enclosing a drawer, shelves and dividers, height 101cm, width 64cm, depth 40cm.No evidence of worm, a little movement to the top on the back right hand corner causing the right hand turned column to mis-align, no damage to glaze, general wear commensurate with age and use.
