A circa 1900 French lacquered brass cased carriage clock, the circular matt dial with Arabic numerals within an ivorine frame inscribed to top "To H du C Norris Esq from Lieut Col G Dalrymple White MP and Officers Fourth BG Grenadier Guards in recollection of Basildon Oct & Novr 1914" 14.5 cm high not including handle together with a mid 20th Century Swiza eight day mantle clock CONDITION REPORTS Unknown if working. The carriage clock has some pitting to the brass throughout. The base is moving i.e. as though something is missing from the inside. There are scratch marks to the base. There is wear to the ivorine panel - inscription is mainly gone. There is some chipping to the glass door. Hands move as well as fly wheel. The other clock has pitting and wear to the brass throughout, uinknown if in working order. Hands move. In need of a clean. Missing one screw to the back plate. See images for more details. General wear and tear conducive with age and use to include dirt etc, surface scratching
An early 20th century French-inspired burr walnut longcase clock, the silvered dial set with Arabic numerals above glazed door and plinth base, set with marble adorned pillars, height 218cm. CONDITION REPORT: The door is slightly warping out at the top. Sun damage and small loss. Silvered dial dull and scratched. No pendulum, weights worn. Whole body has dull finish. Door lock not working properly.
JOSEPH FINNEY OF LIVERPOOL; a George III mahogany thirty hour longcase clock, the broken arched pediment above printed linen panel, above 12" square brass dial, the chapter ring set with Roman and Arabic numerals, with applied moulded figures to the corners, centred with subsidiary seconds hand and date aperture, bearing the maker's details to the lower banding, above a shaped door, flanked by reeded quarter pilasters and stepped plinth to squat bracket feet, height 233cm. CONDITION REPORT: The rope has snapped on the movement, although the large weight and the ballast weight are present. There is wear to the inner edge of the pendulum door. The front right bracket foot is missing its outer skin. The moulded panel to the base is also loose.

A late 19th century ebonised, brass inlaid and brass mounted pier cabinet, the shaped white marble top above panelled door flanked by fluted pillars to a shaped base, height 107cm, width 83cm. CONDITION REPORT: Losses to brass wirework throughout with further sections loose. Scuffs and scrapes to the marble top with two small chips to the front left corner. Splits and minor losses to the door and door has scraped lower frame when opening and closing.
A Victorian walnut and satinwood inlaid bow-fronted credenza, with pair of glazed bowed doors centred with an inlaid panelled door, raised on plinth base, 97 x 152 x 39cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are the usual signs of wear to the piece, knocks to the edges, etc. - especially to the back edges and corners. There is a chip to the front right edge of the piece. Overall it is in good condition.

A late 19th/early 20thC Arts and Crafts hall cupboard by Thomas Edwards, Newcastle, the top with a moulded cornice with dentil moulding, the single door with two bevel mirror plates, copper heart and scroll shaped door hinges, and a central copper panel with raised bead and heart decoration, the interior with an upper shelf and various hooks for coats and hats, flanked by two carved shelves and recesses for umbrellas, with removable copper drip trays, raised on pierced heart shaped trestle supports, 190cm high, 104cm wide, 49cm deep.
An antique garnet locket on a gold chain. The Victorian locket being set with central garnet cabochon surrounded by a halo of round faceted garnets having a glazed panel door to verso. Set to a gold box link chain. Chain marked 375 for 9ct gold. Chain measures 17.5 inches. Locket measures 3cm. Total weight 11.3g. Chain approx 5.5g. Provenance - Private Family Collection - The property belonging to Frederick and Lucy Cazalet who fled the Russian Revolution in 1917 with a single trunk of items. This item was one of the few items in that trunk that they took with them. Frederick and Lucy Cazalet were the descendants of the Hopper family who founded the Shipock Ironworks in Moscow and the Muir / Mirrielees families that created the great department store in their name. Both the Hopper family and the Muir / Mirrielees were of Scottish origin and were prominent families in Russian business circles.Frederick Cazalet (1871-1945) married Lucy Hopper (1870-1956) in the Anglican Church in Moscow in 1901. Both were born in Moscow. Lucy was an authority on Russian pewter and porcelain.Fredrick and Lucy Cazalet managed the great Muir and Mirrielees department store in Moscow until they fled the Russian Revolution in 1917. The department store was nationalised after the Revolution and became TsUM.
