Square brass face with single finger, pierced foliate spandrels Roman numerals and engraved central field, marked G Creswell, Brewood. Arch painted face with rolling moon Roman numerals seconds dial and date aperture marked David Herbert. Herbert Aberystwith eight day two train movement striking on one bell. C1830. Face 19" x 13.5". 93" High overall.

Square brass face with silvered chapter ring (appears replacement or heavily restored) marked Thos Withers, Kentbury. Thirty hour movement striking on one bell. The face 10" Square, 74" High overall.

A mid 18c. 8 day walnut cased Longcase clock. The brass arched dial style with silvered Roman numeric chapter ring with date aperture strike/silent feature signed "Stumbels, Totnes" fitted in carved wood with eagle finials raised above a cross banded trunk door flanked by quarter columns, the whole on bracket feet. Approx. 238 cms high. It is widely believed that William Stumbels was one of the greatest clock makers outside of London. Various examples of his work exist in Museums in the South West of England.
