A Mahogany Longcase Regulator, signed W.Johnson, 50 Strand, London, circa 1830, the nicely coloured case with architectural pediment, glazed front door flanked by canted corners, plinth with moulded borders, upon rectangular base, 12-inch circular silvered dial signed, two large subsidiary dials for seconds and 24-hours, single minute hand, the substantial five pillar movement with deadbeat escapement, ``Harrisons``, maintaining power, mercury tube pendulum with steel rod and adjustable rating nut, brass cased weight, 193cm high 08.10.14, Case slightly faded in parts, the hood with small chips to the mouldings, side of the hood with small cracks and scratches, hood with scratches around the key hole, plinth side panel is slightly lifting away from the carcass, plinth with some mouldings missing, dial with small scratches and the silvering is faded, movement is complete.
A Good George III Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Robert Holland, London, circa 1760, pagoda pediment, brass stop fluted columns, pierced side frets, nicely figured arched moulded trunk door, plinth with a raised moulded panel, bracket feet, 12-inch arched brass dial with a silvered Arabic and Roman chapter ring, seconds and date aperture, arch with a silvered plaque signed, five pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 249cm high 08.10.14, Pierced frets to the hood with slight damage and some fret work is missing, minor scratches and minor dents to the plinth, dial is clean, movement is complete, finials are missing.
A Walnut Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Joseph Williamson, London, circa 1695, caddied pediment, glazed side panels, moulded trunk door with glass lenticle, 11-inch square brass dial with a silvered Arabic and Roman chapter ring signed, matted dial centre with scroll and ringed engraved decoration, date aperture and seconds, ringed winding holes, five pillar movement with anchor escapement and inside countwheel striking on a bell, 223cm high Joseph Williamson was an eminent watch and clock maker in the late 17th/early 18th century. Apprenticed in 1686 and became Master of the Clockmakers Company in 1724. He was the watchmaker to the King of Spain and claimed the invention of equation mechanism in a paper to the Royal Society. His watches and clocks are exhibited in several collections around the world today. 09.10.14, Case has been re-veneered in parts and the veneers are polished, mouldings are re-ebonised, hood door with a later side latch, small dents and scuff marks in places, some small chips to veneers, later skirting to plinth, trunk door slightly bowed, dial and movement are clean.

A George III Style Mahogany Kneehole Desk, the long frieze drawer with six drawers below all around a cupboard door, raised on bracket feet, 18th century and adapted, 70cm by 49cm by 74cm Cosmetically ok. Pediment with various sections of mother-of-pearl missing. Decorated panel doors with various small losses, various flowerheads missing. Foliate carved back panels with small sections missing. Various natural? splits, particularly through fielded panels. Right hand upper panel with later section of timber. Later brass hanging pole. Cornice with repair front right corner. Right hand stile with split. Rear legs replaced/repaired. 300914
A Late 17th Century English Joined Oak Press Cupboard, the strapwork frieze with S shaped scrolls and carved 1686 JI above inverted acorn finials with two cupboard doors below, the base of cupboard doors, all between carved stiles and muntins, 126cm by 61cm by 163cm Typical old decay throughout, particularly end panels of the end section. Later shelves to interior. Later handles. Base cupboard doors with previous handle marks visible. Natural? splits to carved panels on upper section. Right hand base door with small section of timber missing. Otherwise original unrestored condition. 111114

Rear left leg spliced. Drawers with later brasses and old handle marks visible. Later elements to the drawer construction. Rear board on the surface of the dresser later?
