An Edwardian satinwood display cabinet, the broken swan neck pediment above a glazed panel door with a drawer and further glazed panel door below, 188cm high/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: Approximate dimensions are 188cm high x 63.5cm wide x 38cm deep. Top with one broken glazed panel, some scratches and other blemishes acceptable with age. Base left hand returns split, right beading damaged and loose. Glazed door moulding to left hand side loose, overall good condition.
A French satinwood and inlaid display cabinet, the D-shaped front with galleried top on square tapering legs with spade feet, 77cm wide/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: 137cm high, 38cm deep max. Veneer and cross banding with minor lifting, ebonised banding to base frieze lifting and veneer lifting in places. Door escutcheon missing mount. Interior shelf material faded, stained and damaged in places.
A Chinese corner cupboard enclosed by dragon carved panel doors and with circular brass hinges and locking plates, 231cm high CONDITION REPORT: Upper door split, some carving chipped. All brass furnishings throughout later. Cornice in poor condition, lower carving with some chips, stains and other damage acceptable with age. Complete with locks.
A George III mahogany linen press enclosed by oval panel doors, the base of two short over two long drawers on bracket feet, 189cm high x 125cm wide CONDITION REPORT: Very rocky. Splits to veneer and some pieces of veneer missing. Top does not sit proudly on base resulting in unnecessary movement. One hinge split, one drawer handle missing. Oval door moulding in poor condition. Fitted sliding trays. Please see images attached.
A 19th Century Dutch floral marquetry side cabinet, with folding top above a drawer and pair of cupboard doors, 97cm wide (alterations) CONDITION REPORT: Left hand folding top panel loose, mirror very cloudy, drawer interior completely altered, cupboard door lock banding badly damaged, left hand side panel blistered.
A 19th Century mahogany longcase clock, the painted arched dial with phases of the moon, fitted an eight-day striking movement, the hood with swan neck pediment, 135cm high/see illustration CONDITION REPORT: There is a key for the trunk door but the lock is upside down. There are splits in veneer on the hood door frame and the veneer is lifting to trunk frieze and slightly lifting on door.
An Inuit carving of a fisherman, 25cm high and another CONDITION REPORT: Large figure - chipping and small repair to 'collar'. Various surface marks/knocks. Under felt base is scratched name ? Joshua. Also an old lable perhaps from a gallery or shop.Smaller figure - 20cm high. Chipping to brim of hood. Various surface marks/knocks. Scratched marks under, the only thing I can make out is C (copyright sign) 1973.The various knocks are because these have been used as door stops.
