Having an open shelf, enclosed by a twin arcade, incise-carved with scrolls and geometric motifs, on run-moulded uprights with conforming moulded and punch-decorated capital, atop a boarded central door, flanked by fixed panels, all carved with a lunette atop a lozenge, with punched highlights, 83cm high, 77cm width, 26cm deep.
The arched carved door with a circular watch-face aperture, dated '1743' to spandrels, atop the initials 'AHMD' flanked by spiral-turned corner pilasters, each side with a glazed arch above a carved bird resting in a flowering branch, all topped by 'pagoda', with ball finials and arched windows, on turned feet, height 26.2cm, width 12.5cm, depth 7.5cm.

Various use related marks and scratches, some deep. No maker's labels or keys. Screw securing the door mechanism to bookshelf will need some attention to hold the door securely in place. Appears to have been stored somewhere damp.
