A French ormolu mantel clock. Circa 1880, with Sevres style porcelain panels, mounted with two cherubs, the movement by W Oppenheim, Paris, height 32.5cm.The clock appears to be overwound and does not strike at present.The rear door does not close properly, there is a hole at the front of the case, so there is presumably something missing.There are a few small chips near the winding holes.
A late Victorian walnut cased bracket type wall timepiece. The white dial signed Banner & Son, Lewes, fitted a single fusee movement and with applied carved mouldings and bracket style support, height 47cm.The clock has been entered from a deceased estate and was working, but not recently, we have not set the clock up in the saleroom.The winding key and pendulum are present. There are no apparent major condition issues, the hinges of the side door are replacements and there are a few marks and scratches.
A George III mahogany eight-day longcase clock. The white painted arched dial signed Wm Fryer Bristol and the moon phase indicating high water at Bristol Quay, the swan neck pediment with gilt portrait roundels and fret cut piercing above a well figured door and bracket feet, height 233cm.This clock has been entered from a deceased estate, it was previously working, but not for a while, it comes with weights and a pendulum.The painted dial has been refreshed.Parts of the fretwork and the cornice have been broken and glued. There are a few chips and marks, but generally, the case is very presentable.Additional images are posted online.
