A 1984 Bentley Mulsanne Turbo project, registration number A6 SKR, black. Introduced in 1982 the Mulsanne Turbo had phenomenal performance, boasting a not inconsiderable 50% power increase over the standard Mulsanne. By adding a large Garrett AiResearch Turbocharger to the V8 Bentley created a super car bating luxury saloon with performance to match any contemporary Aston Martin or Ferrari. With only 498 hand built examples being manufactured they are a rare model and have a special place in Bentley history. The example, we have the pleasure of offering for auction, has been the property of a titled gentleman for the past ten years. The Bentley has not been used on the road since 2014 and is described by the vendor as now requiring refurbishment. Finished in a very distinctive colour combination of black coachwork with a black leather interior with red piping, the Bentley features an ebony dashboard and door cappings and black leather headlining. We are further advised that the Bentley runs and drives and has recently had new tyres fitted all round. This Bentley now offers entry into an exclusive marque without breaking the bank.
