A Victorian walnut marquetry inlaid inverted break-front drop centre open bookcase. With adjustable shelves, flanked by two cupboards, the paneled doors with finely detailed foliate decoration, the sides with leaf and vine. All raised on a plinth base L281cm x D49cm x H130cm. Condition Report: There is a repaired long split to two of the back panels (of the narrowest shelves), there are some relatively minor losses to veneers at edges overall, with a larger loss and area of lifting to veneer front and side of plinth base. Overall there are some typical surface scratches and wear with a few scratches to top. There is no glazing to front and the bookshelves are open. The doors shut flush. The individual elements (plinth, two side cupboard shelves and central shelving section) are separate elements, and they are loosely fitted together with screw holes evident for fitting. Some of the shelves are lacking, there is some wear to the existing shelves and don't fit without some supports or adaption. There is no evidence of there being any central door or woodworm. An 18th century style oak court cupboard. The top lifting to reveal hidden compartments above a highly carved pelmet decorated with a head, lion heads, acanthus and foliate decoration. The upper section with single cupboard decorated with cherubs and figures flanked by two cherub heads. The lower section with geometric panelled door with central lion head flanked by two columns of a figure and leaves and acorns, raised on squat bun supports. L105.5cm x D51.5cm x H152.
A Victorian Slate Striking Mantel Clock, 4.5" enamel dial with a visible "Brocot" escapement, 43cm highCase with minor chips in parts. The left-hand side of the base with restoration. Back door hinges are loose. Dial is clean. Movement plates slightly dirty. Movement in going order. With pendulum.
A Mahogany Wheel Barometer, circa 180, signed E Davies, Shrewsbury, 96cmThe case very slightly faded in parts. Part of the swan neck pediment moulding is missing. The back door hinge with two screws missing and the door is loose. Some rubbing to the mouldings are the thermometer box. Case sides with minor chips. Mercury tube is complete with no damage.

Lower righ hand side of base with some veneer bubbling. Lower left hand side with water damage.
A Mahogany 12-Inch Dial Wall Timepiece, signed Lum, Ripponden, circa 1840, side and bottom doors, 12-inch painted dial with Roman numerals and signed, single fusee movement with an anchor escapement, movement backplate signed Lum, 36.5cm highCase with small cracks in parts, some minor pieces of veneer are missing to the underside door, possibly later bezel, bottom door lock plate is missing, underside of the case with blistering marks to the surface, wooden dial surround with some cracks and some small old repairs, dial has been restored but to a high standard, movement is complete, movement stops after a few minutes on test, not working, needs service, with pendulum.
A Mahogany Domestic Longcase Regulator, signed Joseph Joy, West Vale, late 19th century, arched pediment, glazed trunk door, bracket shaped feet, 14-inch circular painted dial with Roman numerals, seconds and date dials, four pillar movement with a deadbeat escapement and now striking on a gong, maintaining power, (possibly in a later case) 207cm highCase with some veneers lifting in parts, plinth with cracks to the front and some veneers missing, wooden mask below the dial is later, dial with small chips and scratches, metal brackets below the seatboard have been later added, movement now converted to striking on a gong, gong has been later added to the backboard, movement needs cleaning, movement and striking hammer are disconnected at present, strike is not working, with two weights and a pendulum, pendulum suspension spring is broken.
