A 20thC mahogany finish Tempus Fugit grandmother clock, with arched dial and glazed trunk door, on a panel base terminating in a panel on block base, with 21cm diameter dial, raised with brass spandrels, with a silvered Roman numeric and Arabic chaptering, chain driven with weights, 164cm high.
A 19thC oak and mahogany longcase clock, with swan neck pedimented hood, set with brass roundels and an urn finial, raised above a shaped trunk door with a wide cross banding, flanked by quarter columns, the whole raised on stylised ogee bracket feet, with a painted Roman numeric arched dial set with painted buildings to the spandrels, 28cm wide dial, with subsidiary second hand and date aperture, with eight day movement, with two weights, pendulum and key, 214cm high.
LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY ENGLISH MAHOGANY TWO TRAIN BRACKET CLOCK, the face marked 'T. Austen', having arched case with brass loop handle to the top, brass bezel to the circular Roman dial, two brass grills below on a moulded platform base with ogee bracket feet. Two train brass movement with engraved back plate and brass pendulum bob, the movement striking on two graduated bells. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Fair condition, the case has suffered considerable wear and tear with splits and losses in places. Damage to door frame which has been repaired at some stage but still evidence of loss externally. Movement appears ok. 38cm high, 20cm weep, 29cm high.

18TH CENTURY HEREFORDSHIRE OAK 30 HOUR LONGCASE CLOCK marked 'Ralph Sayer, Kington', the case with flat moulded hood above square aperture flanked by three quarter turned pillasters, plain rectangular waist door on a panelled base with skirted support. Face has Roman chapter ring and pierced foliate spandrels, single finger. 30 hour movement, strikes on one bell, 10 x 10" dial approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Good coloured, well polished face. Case has good colour, split to the base between base boards. The skirted stand is later and the moulded cornice is probably later. A Ralph Sayer recorded in London 1748. Includes pendulum but might not have weight.
19TH CENTURY CHANNEL ISLANDS MAHOGANY 8 DAY LONGCASE CLOCK marked J. Le Gallais, Jersey, the case with later turned finials, broken scroll pediment over arched aperture, flanked by baluster turned columns above waist with moulded pointed arch door, panelled base on bracket frieze feet. Painted arch face with seconds and date dials, Roman numerals and painted animals to spandrels with girl and rabbits to the arch. 8 day two train movement striking on one bell. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Overall in basically good condition, rather dusty and grubby. Finials are later editions. columns are detached, includes pendulum.
18TH CENTURY OAK 8 DAY LONGCASE CLOCK the face marked Joshua Alloway?, Taunton, the case overall later carved with broken swan neck pediment above moulded cornice, square aperture flanked by fluted columns, arch waisted door, panel base on bracket feet. Brass face with pierced foliate spandrels, Roman chapter ring, seconds dial and date aperture, 8 day two train movement striking on one bell. The face 7.5 x 12" dial approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Overall appearing to be in good condition, includes two lead weights and brass bob pendulum. The case later copiously carved but appearing in good condition. The name on the face is difficult to be sure but appears to be either Alloway or Allorvay. Joshua Alloway recorded London circa 1726.

Brass 12" square face with Roman chapter ring, seconds dial and date aperture, two train movement, striking on one bell. 220cm high overall approx.(B.P. 21% + VAT)(B.P. 21% + VAT) Appearing in good condition, minor wear commensurate with age. Includes weight and pendulum with winder. Lacks the eagle and spike brass cresting to the pediment, otherwise ok.

Original well painted arched face with seconds dial, Roman numerals and date aperture, gilded and painted shells and flowers to the spandrels and arch. 30 hour movement, strikes on one bell. 20" x 14" face approx.(B.P. 21% + VAT)(B.P. 21% + VAT) Appearing good original condition, commensurate with age. Some wear and tear. Facing good, appearing original condition, includes pendulum and weight.

Simmons next door to the Golden Lion in Aldersgate-street, 1674, [8] 333 [1] pp., without portrait frontispiece, final leaf of text and final blank leaf, with final leaf of text provided in later manuscript facsimile (18th century?), title with 2 ownership signatures of Richard Taylor (one dated 1800) and with faint ink line marks to title and repair to upper outer corner, light worm trails to A1-C2 (mostly to fore-edge blank margin), H7 with rust hole to one letter of running title, Q3 with small hole & printing fault affecting few letters, few minor ink marks and some browning mostly to margins, some light dust-soiling, modern good quality antique-style calf, calf title label to spine, 8vo (16.5 x 10.5 cm)Qty: (1)NOTESESTC R13351; Grolier Wither to Prior 605 (not mentioning the final blank); Wing M2144; not in Pforzheimer. 'In this second edition the number of books in the poem has been increased from ten to twelve by dividing Books VII and XII into two each, and by adding three new lines to the beginning of Book VIII, and five new lines to Book XII. The "Argument" ... is also divided, and the separate parts prefixed to the books to which they severally apply. Milton's nephew, Edward Phillips, in his "Life of John Milton", 1694, states that these changes were made at Milton's direction' (Grolier). The second edition is also important for containing Andrew Marvell's commendatory poem 'On Paradise Lost'. According to ESTC the frontispiece is not found in all copies.

A diploma giving citizenship of the city of Krakow in Poland to the nobleman Joannes Stephanus Pusterla, 20 July 1630, written and decorated by Daniel Rodom of Krakow, illuminated deed on vellum in red, blue, gold and grey colours, the decoration divided into two horizontal bands, the upper part of with title lettering decorated with various figures including a warrior, Justice, hunting scenes, birds and fish, monsters and mythical animals, a man playing wind instruments, etc., the larger lower horizontal band, the humanistic script with a large decorative initial 'U' decorated with figures and mythical creatures, the scribe's name signed neatly in a small hand in the middle of the initial, the text within a decorative border including further figures, animals and a castle door and crest of Poland, some embrowning, a few small holes and marginal splits and edge wear, 50 x 75 cmQty: (1)
