The going train side of the movement is working.

However, the formica section to the base may be more difficult (see image). Various small faults throughout as photographed including the dentil cornice, moulding on the central cupboard doors, and a split on the right-hand cupboard door. Small faults to the cock beading. Later mirror plate. No key. Cupboard and drawers open.

A George III Mahogany Linen Press, circa 1800, the dentil cornice above moulded cupboard doors enclosing converted hanging space, the base of two short over two long drawers, on splayed bracket feet, 122cm by 55cm by 206cmGood quality timber. Moulded cupboard doors are slightly misshapen, mainly to the right-hand side if being critical. Fine split on right-hand cupboard door which has been partly filled and polished. The veneers to the drawer fronts are starting to lift slightly. Right-hand side panels with patch repairs to the timber and above the right-rear leg. Left-hand side with further scratches and some small patch repairs again. The interior trays have been removed and brass pole added. Splits are visible to the interior of the doors, but are not on the opposing side.

A Satinwood and Polychrome Painted Carlton House Style Desk, in Neo-Classical style, richly decorated with oval portraits, floral sprays and ribbons, the superstructure with an arrangement of eight drawers around a central cupboard door and flanked by two hinged compartments, the sliding green leather writing surface above a bowfront drawer flanked by two small drawers decorated with laurel, on square tapering legs painted with flowerbells, brass-capped feet and castors, 107cm by 60cm by 102cmLeather worn and there is also a shrinkage split visible to the leather (see images). Scuffs around the legs and some general bruising consistent with age. Paintwork is generally good - just some scratching and some crazing.

The timber to the top section above the glazing has some losses and is starting to bubble in places. More scuffs around the legs. Shelf with very minor end splitting. 63cm wide, maximum depth 47cm, height 129.5cm.

However, there are numerous scuffs around the top and plinth bases. Some slight variations in colour, mainly around the top section. The doors are open but no keys.

Cabinet one - various losses and overpainting. Urn is damaged with previous glue repair marks. Further repairs around the apron and shrinkage splits to the framework. Cabinet two - better condition, however there is further overpainting and small faults throughout.
