1970 Morris Minor 1000 TravellerMake: Morris Model: Minor Traveller Year: 1970Mileage: 40934VIN: MAW51269813Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: DWB283HTransmission: manThe vendor has owned this Morris Minor Traveller - known as Beryl - since 2015, using it as a second vehicle during that time. Improvements carried out since then include electronic ignition, new starter motor, Sikkens preservative wood treatment, new rear door seal and inertia reel seatbelts. The 'Moggie' was resprayed Trafalgar Blue during 2019 and driven almost 50 miles to the auction without issue. The car was registered in February 1970, and the odometer reads 40,934 miles, which isn't warranted. Just five former registered keepers are recorded on the V5C, and the Traveller is MoT'd until August 2022, despite its status as an historic vehicle.
1962 Morris Minor VanMake: Morris Model: Minor Van Year: 1962Mileage: 29691VIN: 0E51139949Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: 9SKOTransmission: manualThis Morris Minor van, registered in February 1962 and formerly on on an agricultural licence, was stored in a barn for 40 years from 1969. When it emerged, it was professionally rebuilt (for which there are photos) from the chassis up, with new items such as the petrol pump, dynamo, control box, hoses, handbrake cables, floor, front wings and rear door skins. The vendor acquired the vehicle in at the end of 2013 but has only driven it around 1000 miles since then, and is now selling because of a lack of use. The odometer reading of the 948cc van is 29,691 miles, which is believed genuine given the period of storage. Its last MoT expired in May 2020, although as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires testing. In the history file, you'll find the V5C, old MoT certificates from 2014 to 2019, and the original buff logbook, in addition to the folder of photographs showing the restoration, and the van's transformation from a white and rusty Minor to the much nicer and charming vehicle you see today.

1963 Alvis TD21 Series II 5 Speed Manual Make: AlvisModel: TD21 Series IIYear: 1963Mileage: 71614VIN: 26981Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: 996KEATransmission: ManualThis example of Alvis' stately 2993cc TD21 was registered in June 1963, making it one of the last of the 'traditional' headlamp Alvises before the introduction of stacked twin headlamps on the TE21 - which proved a controversial if distinctive styling feature. As a Series II, it has all-wheel Dunlop disc brakes in place of the previous disc/drum combination along with door frames constructed of aluminium for lightness (and also panelled in the metal to alleviate problems with the wood used before). This car also has the five-speed manual ZF gearbox that was a feature of the later machines. Three former registered keepers are recorded on the V5C, with the car's odometer showing 76,164 miles. In its light blue metallic finish, the Alvis looks smart although there are some scratches, bubbles and micro-blistering apparent in places on the paint. Inside, the walnut veneer is well-preserved. There's some patina to the maroon leather and a tear in the front seat passenger hide; it all looks like it is the original upholstery that the car left the factory with. The car starts, runs, drives and stops well, and appears fully road-usable. The paperwork file includes the V5C plus maintenance diagrams, an Alvis catalogue of spare parts and the original instruction manual.
1978 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow IIMake: Rolls Royce Model: Silver Shadow IIYear: 1978Mileage: 86189VIN: SRH34938Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: FBC988TTransmission: automatic 6,750cc. Finished in Willow Gold, this Shadow II has had just five owners from new and is sold with 86,189 warranted miles. It is a lovely example with an untouched, original interior. When new, it was ordered with the lower panels in the non standard Willow Gold and the pillars and roof in Honey but over time has been repainted in Willow Gold all over. Its optional extras when new included whitewall tyres, Lucas Q.I. headlamps, rear picnic tables, internally adjustable mirror to the passenger's door, recess hinged lid to rear centre armrest, master over-ride switch for electric windows, chrome GB letters and padded lid to central tape storage compartment. During the vendors three year ownership, the car has covered less than 1,000 miles but has been subject to recent new parts including electric ignition kit with leads and uprated coil, battery and tyres. Its extensive history file contains the build sheets, two service books fully stamped from 1978 to 2006 by either main dealers or specialists, MoTs dating from 1994 until 2020 when last issued at 85,026 miles, many receipts, various documents, handbooks, wallet and spare keys. 1966 Wolseley Hornet MKIIMake: Wolseley Model: Hornet Year: 1966Mileage: 59840VIN: WA2S2793248Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: EPV329DTransmission: manualThe Wolseley Hornet was, along with its Riley Elf sister, an early attempt to produce an upmarket version of the Mini. Launched in 1961, the Hornet and Elf were given larger boots, rear fins and traditional upright grilles, along with leather seats and wood on the fascia. The models progressed from MkIs with 34bhp 848cc engines to MkIIs with 38bhp 998cc motors and then MkIIIs with concealed door hinges and wind-up windows. As a MkII Hornet, this is arguably the most desirable of the variants, with the original body style but the more powerful engine. This Wolseley was registered in May 1966, just before the progression from MkII to MkIII. It has been restored and still looks quite fresh, with a new-looking interior, very good paintwork and a solid underneath. The vendor tells us that the car drives well with good oil pressure, describing it as a 'good, all-round solid car that has covered just 1600 miles since 2002'.

1972 Fiat 500LMake: Fiat Model: 500LYear: 1972Mileage: 81000VIN: 2995789Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: WNU102KTransmission: manualThis Fiat 500L is an original UK car rather than a recent import, being registered in June 1972. The 'L' (for 'Lusso') specification denoted a more richly trimmed and better appointed version of the standard 500, and was available from 1967 to 1972, when it was superseded by the new Fiat 126. Features included tubular bumper guards, a new Fiat badge at the front, redesigned hubcaps, chrome plastic gutter mouldings and bright trim around windscreen and rear window. Inside the dashboard was covered in black anti-glare plastic instead of being bare painted metal, and there was a new trapezoid instrument binnacle replacing the round one used on all other 500 models. The steering wheel was black plastic with metal spokes, while the door cards and seats were pleated pattern leatherette. There was also more storage space was provided in the form of a tray on the centre tunnel, which like the rest of the floor was covered in carpet rather than rubber mats. While this car was restored around five years ago, according to the vendor, the interior is apparently original. New tyres were fitted last year, as was a fuel pump. The mileage is indicated as 80,905 although this isn't warranted. The vehicle's last MoT expired in May 2017. Included in the paperwork folder are the V5C plus the recent invoices for the fuel pump and service kit, dating from 2021. There are older bills and correspondence back to the 1990s. A service manual is part of the file as are MoT certificates 1999, 2000 and 2001. In addition, there's a spare set of keys.
