An Edwardian mahogany longcase clock, with steeple and ball finial and swans neck pediment above the arched glazed door enclosing the brass dial and three-train striking movement, with long trunk door and conforming base. Height including finial 220 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The clock case is in extremely good condition. The hood columns are a little loose but other than this the case is really in first class condition. The silvered brass dial is tarnished and somewhat dirty. The movement does wind on all three trains. It is however extremely dirty and we have not had the movement running. There is a pendulum with the clock however we do not think that this is the correct one even though it is inside the case.
A late Victorian Aesthetic Movement side cabinet, with mirrored back and amboyna wood panels, the base with canted angles, open shelves and cupboard door decorated with a bird. Width 106 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Height 162 cm, depth 35.5 cm. The cabinet is generally a little tired and in not particularly good condition. The super structure is undamaged. The gilding is however rubbed in places and there are scuffs and wear to the ebonised finish. The top of the cabinet has numerous scratches and scuffs and losses to the ebonised finish. The drawer is in generally good condition. The panelled cupboard door is scuffed and marked to the ebonised surrounds and there is some loss to the paintwork on the centre panel and the gilding is rubbed. The left hand side gallery and two open shelves are in good order. The bottom gallery is missing one spindle. The left hand side panel has substantial losses to the ebonised finish from floor level up to about 32 cm. The same comments apply to the right hand side panel. There are also other scuffs and marks through the ebonised side surfaces. The front lower spindled gallery and right hand gallery are in reasonable order as are the front turned feet. The back panelling is all original. The lower rectangular panel is however detached.
An early 19th century mahogany longcase clock by Dan Brown of Glasgow, with two-train striking movement, subsidiary date and seconds dials. Height 203 cm. CONDITION REPORT: We have the weights, pendulum, door key and winding key. The clock is currently ticking away and striking. The case is in generally good order. There are some minor nibbles to the cornice and a few pieces of dentil work missing. Both the columns are slightly loose at the top but are easy to position. The left hand column has the rear of the top capital missing. The trunk door is slightly warped but does close and lock with the key. The lock and lock escutcheon are later. There are various nibbles and marks to the case however the condition is generally fairly good. The right hand blind fretwork spandrel has a small loss.
A Victorian mahogany wardrobe, with detachable moulded cornice with rounded corners and with drawer to base. Width 132 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The wardrobe is in generally very good order. There are no issues with the cornice. The door is not warped and opens and locks as it should. There are some minor veneer losses around the lock escutcheon. The drawer slides smoothly. The plinth base has the usual scuffs and marks that one would expect but no significant issues. The sides of the wardrobe are well figured and in good order. There is hanging space throughout the wardrobe interior.
A pair of Edwardian inlaid mahogany display cabinets, each with detachable pediment, glazed door, canted angles and raised on tapered legs of square section terminating in spade feet. Width 104 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The cabinets are in generally good order. There are no broken panes of glass. Both locks are present and very simple but we do not have a key. Cabinet one has some shadows to the rear upstand. The top is in good order. The cornice and frieze are in good condition all round. There is a break to the top left hand corner of the oval astragal and a very small timber loss at the fracture point. There are two further shrinkage fractures at the bottom left hand corner. The rear oval retention hoop onto which the oval astragal is fitted has numerous stress fractures. There are some scuffs around the bottom edge moulding and one section of the shaped apron on the canted angle is missing which should be visible on our photograph. The other one is loose. The legs are in good order and there is no evidence of any woodworm. Cabinet two - the upstand has some minor watermarks. The top is in good order as is the frieze. The door has some marks around the lock escutcheon. There are no issues with the astragals and only minor fractures to the bracing hoop at the rear. There are minor scratches to the bottom edge moulding and around the feet. There is no evidence of any woodworm. The interior cloth lining is generally tired and stained. The cloth lining does not match the other cabinet. One cabinet has clearly been in the sun more than the other hence the slight colour differentiation.

The hood has damage and losses to the fretwork. The right hand side fretwork return is completely missing. The left hand side is 50% missing. It would make sense to incorporate the remains of the left hand side return into the section missing from the front. The fretwork section above the arch has some minor losses and the material behind has some perforations. The left hand side Gothic window to the hood is missing. The right hand side one is present and has some minor fretwork damage. The trunk door is not warped and locks as it should. We have the key.
