Midland Railway 12 inch oak cased English fusee railway drop dial clock supplied by John Smiths or Rock of Derby circa mid 19 th century. The case with a eight piece turned convex moulded surround, spun brass bezel, two side doors and a bottom door secured by a brass lock and its LMS brass oval numberplate 15182 pinned to the drop. The original dial is lettered BR and would have been repainted in the late 1960's. The brass wire driven movement has rectangular plates with shaped shoulders and has been professionally cleaned and overhauled. Complete and in working condition with pendulum and key.
South African Railways 12 inch mahogany cased English fusee railway clock supplied by F.W. Elliott of London. The case with a four piece turned convex surround, spun brass bezel, one side door and a bottom door secured by a brass turn. The original dial is lettered SAR - SAS. The brass wire driven movement has rectangular plates which are stamped Elliott London 0299. Complete and in working condition with pendulum and key.
Great Western Railway 14 inch oak cased English fusee railway clock supplied to probably the Vale of Neath or Rhondda and Swansea Bay Railways by Hennessy of Swansea circa 1860. The oak case with a one piece convex surround, cast brass bezel, two side doors and a bottom door with the lock removed and secured by the GWR modified ball bearing catch and has an GWR ivorine numberplate 3113 screwed to it. The original dial which has been lightly restored is lettered GWR in Roundel and also visible as ghosted writing is G.W.R. in block lettering and HENNESSY SWANSEA. The brass chain driven fusee movement has rectangular plates. Complete and in working condition with pendulum and key. Bernard Hennessy of 5 wind Street Swansea is associated with supplying clocks to the two Welsh pre grouping companies mentioned. An impressive clock.

A Victorian satin birch bookcase cabinet . Top section lacking several shelf supports. Remains of some sticky plastic covering to the interior. One door panel appears to have shrunk slightly. Minor chipping to the base. Lower section with ring and other staining to the front of top. Horizontal crack across top. Frame cracks to the sides. Significant stain to the front of lower drawer. General signs of wear commensurate with age and use. 106cm wide by 49cm deep by 230cm high.
A Victorian ebonised, marquetry inlaid and gilt metal mounted Bonheur de Jour, in Louis XV style, with superstructure and a central mirrored cupboard door flanked by six drawers above a worn leather writing surface with serpentine shaped drawer and cabriole legs with gilt metal mounted sabots, 115cm by 60cm by 120cm. Rather faded. Leather top worn and needs replacing. Very fine natural (?) splits around superstructure. Sections of metalwork missing around the edge. Deep scratches/gouges on left corner below the bottom drawer where the superstructure has been removed. NB The superstructure is still loose. Small veneer losses throughout and other faults around legs. 110717

The gearbox does not seem to engage in forward gears, it was left for some time in storage as the person was ill.

Man's Jacket with fitting for 1970s Spy Camera (Camera not present). (condition 4F). The LARGE jacket has internal fitting for F-21 Ajax-12 camera*. A camera can attached to the internal mount and remotely controlled by 'trigger' hidden in outer pocket. On operating the remote release the camera 'mount' causes a tiny door in one of the buttons to open, the Ajax camera (when fitted) inside fires and the door snaps shut.
