G159 WHU - Vauxhall Nova - 1196cc - Manual - Petrol - a superb and genuinely impressive example of a classic Vauxhall Nova Merit. Two-door saloon, in red with black trim. A completely unrestored and generally 'immaculate' example. Only two previous owners, and was originally purchased from new at Patchway Motors, Bristol and kept garaged its entire life. The chassis has never been welded, nor any panels replaced or damaged. The car still retains its original paint, trim, interior and headlining The interior can be considered 'as new' and even retains the original radio and clock. Low milage car - covering just shy of 30,000 miles since new with only 2 previous keepers. A superbly well maintained example, and a real head-turner in terms of condition. A cursory glance at its MOT history reveals it has only ever failed on very minor elements - wipers, lights, exhaust etc. Very likely the best known surviving example of this car.Last MOT ran our in April 2016 since then it has been garaged due to the owner passing away. The older style V5C is present, as well as a single set of (original) keys. The car starts and drives as expected, but the brakes appear to be binding slightly (likely from being garaged for some time). We deem this to only require very light recommissioning to get roadworthy. The car comes with several old MOT certificates, invoices and related ephemera. A genuinely impressive car.
