A rare post-WWII believed Vulcan Bomber ' test ' Bomb Doors / Bomb Release switch box. The three-switch unit housed in a portable leather carry case stamped ' 5G13642 Test Set Pulse No. 1 Type 1 '. The blue metal switch unit with switches for ' Bomb Doors ' and ' Bomb Release '. End of the plug marked ' Cables Test - Vulcan '. Likely used by technicians to test the door / release action when the plane was grounded. Rare item.
An original port door panel from a (believed) RAF jet plane (possibly a Harrier). The lightweight steel panel bearing a riveted fin to top, with notation for ' Step '. To the other side is notation in red, reading ' Cut and remove the tie holding the 4 flaps on parachute before closing the port door '. Rare. Measures approx; 38cm tall x 76cm long.

A Regency brass and mahogany double fusee bracket clock by F. Lawley of Bath, the eight day double fusee movement striking the hour on a bell, the signed and painted circular 8in. dial with Roman numerals, the rectangular case with shallow gadrooned top with brass finial, over a brass inlaid front and sides with foliate rosette ring handles and pierced brass scale fretwork grilles, raised on decorative gilt brass ball feet, 19½in. (49.5cm.) high.* Condition: Very original condition - case is quite dirty but has a lovely colour. All brass inlays are complete. They are securely fixed overall - just two of the string inlays are lifting a little at the ends. Two chips to edge of gadrooned top to front and small chip to the back corners. Locks to dial glass and rear door working - key is rusty but original. Movement definitely original to case. A few old (inactive ) worm holes to top of back. Shrinkage crack down centre of right lower side of case, below the grille. Side moulding missing from the top right of case. Winds and runs but will almost certainly require cleaning and some work as it has not been serviced for decades. Winding key 20th century.
An early 19th century mahogany arched mantel clock by Richard Ganthony of London, with single train fusee movement, the arched backplate with applied arched plaque signed 'Rich Ganthony LONDON', with pendulum locking bar, to a Roman white enamel dial, the arched case with gilt brass top handle and boxwood stringing, on a plinth base with gilt brass ball feet, 10¾in. (27.3cm.) high plus handle.* Condition: Movement original to case. Case and winding keys present and locks working. Winds and runs but does stop after a few minutes, so will require cleaning and servicing. Case good and original. Only fault is a small piece of wood missing from the rear glazed door in line with the lock. Dial very good with a few tiny marks. Gilt wear to feet and handle. Spotting to bezel.
A good quality Victorian rosewood serpentine chiffonier with marble top, the arched foliate carved mirror back over a serpentine marble top on four foliate scroll brackets, the base with concealed drawer above a two door cupboard flanked by smaller cupboards, on serpentine plinth base, 60½in. (153.5cm.) wide.
A composite Georgian and Victorian canteen of silver fiddle thread pattern flatware, twelve place setting, various makers and dates, contained in a Victorian walnut three drawer canteen, with rebated brass handles to sides and two-door front, comprising 12 table forks, 12 table spoons, 12 dessert spoons, 12 dessert forks, 12 tea spoons, a soup ladle, a fish server, a basting spoon, a soup ladle, a sifter ladle and a butter knife; also including a 12 silver cake knives and forks, London 1922; and a set of 12 modern table knives and 12 modern dessert knives with stainless steel blades, gross weight 230 tr.oz., silver weight only 180 tr.oz.* Condition: Canteen well matched. 19th century pieces in good condition, with good marks and just light wear to bowls and tines. 20th century pieces in very good condition. Canteen in good condition - old polished-in marks and scratches as expected but overall good, with even colour and good polish. All handles original. With key - lock working.
A William IV mahogany single fusee bracket timepiece, 30 hour single train movement, white painted Roman dial, the case with arched top with foliate carved apron and brass inlaid floral panel to front, on a bevelled plinth with turned bun feet, brass floral loose ring handles to sides, label to interior for 'Wehrle Brothers Watch and Clock Makers, 39, Lisson Grove, N.W. and 47, Warwick Street, Pimlico, S.W., London', 13in. (33cm.) high.* Condition: Minute hand is detached. Some wear to dial and two large flakes to paint at 4.45 and 7.30. Case good with good colour and very original. Small veneer chip to back edge of top. Rear door lacks lock - small bent brass wire catch fitted next to door to keep closed. Movement appears original to case. Winds and runs.
A Chippendale style blind feet carved and glazed mahogany display cabinet on stand, c.1910, the broken arch fretwork top over a dentil and blind fret carved frieze, the thirteen pane astragal glazed door beneath enclosing three shelves, on a bowfront stand with pierced fretwork frieze and brackets, over an incuse undershelf with lattice pierced gallery, on blind fret carved square tapered supports with spade feet, 24¾ x 16in. (63 x 40.5cm.), 74in. (188cm.) high.
A Chinese carved and ebonised hardwood two part display stand cabinet, early 20th century, with reeded borders and foliate carved brackets and galleries, the open upper section openwork surmount over an arrangement of seven galleried open shelves, the base with a two door cupboard, the doors carved with peonies, enclosing an interior with an open shelf above and below two short drawers, raised on reeded stile feet united by a pierced apron, 44½ x 15in. (113 x 38cm.), 82in. (208.25cm.) high.
A Chinese bronze hanging lantern, first half 20th century, the spherical openwork body forming swirling clouds around inner candle chamber, character mark design to hinged door with spinning latch, topped by flattened bell form with cloud finials around its circumference, with later bronze cap and chain, 10½in.
