A George III mahogany eight-day longcase clock, the arched dial with silvered Roman numeral chapter, pierced brass spandrels and inscribed 'Tempus Fugit', with subsidiary seconds and date dials, the hood with broken swan neck pediment and a Corinthian columns, the trunk with an arched door and quarter fluted columns, on a pedestal base with bracket feet, 222cm high x 52cm wide
A mid 18th Century English long case clock by Thomas Ogden of Halifax, circa 1760. The oak case having a pedestal base with small bracket foot rising to a mid section with long door below a pagoda topped hood. The whole detailed with blind fret work decoration and tapered columns with brass capitals. The brass dial movement having a painted rising moon feature above a square dial with engraved deep chapter ring displaying Roman and classical numerals. The whole further detailed with a central subsidiary dial, foliate carved detail and applied foliate spandrels.
A LATE 18TH CENTURY MAHOGANY AND ROSEWOOD CROSSBANDED LONGCASE CLOCK BY RICHARDSON OF BUBWITH, having an arched painted dial with moon phase, seconds dial and crescent date aperture, black painted Roman and Arabic numerals, gilt scroll spandrels with eight day movement striking on a bell; the case having a broken arch pediment, brass globe and eagle finial above rounded pilasters with gilt capitals, the door inlaid in satinwood with a shell paterae and spandrels, flanked by quarter pilasters and on ogee bracket feet, 203cms high.
A late 19th Century French Kingwood and marquetry cabinet on stand, Louis XV design, the gilt brass mounted and marble inset top above a downswept frieze and serpentine door, flanked by concave sides, each with pictorial marquetry panels of 18th Century figures in landscapes, above a secretaire drawer and serpentine legs, united by a shaped under-tier ending in sabots, 135 cm high x 77 cm wide.
